If you have made it clear to them that the person they are looking for doesn't live there but they keep calling back try this:As soon as you know it's them calling say 'just a minute' as if you were going to get the person they are asking for.  Then set the phone down and walk away.   Don't say anything else to them.  **** up after a few minutes.  Do that every time they call.

I have been recieveing this female calling me now for about a week. And she cannot seem to understand the fact that she has the wrong number! She continually swears at me, ****s up and repeatidly calls!!! I want this to STOP!!!

I call the Toronto number every day and ask for Kooldeep. They tell me I have the wrong number so I call them back and tell them they are liars and to put Kooldeep on the **** phone.I also make sure to always **** up on them while they are in mid sentance.

They called my home 6 times in two days asking for a person I have never heard of. I kept telling them they had the wrong number. They kept calling.I made 1 call to their Toronto office and let them know I was filing a complaint. It's been 6 days now and they have not called back.Thank you Doug J for posting that info.

After three months, they've s****ed calling my number a***n looking for someone who hasn't lived here in six months. I work at home and I'm sick of being disturbed by someone who lobs ***ue threats at me. We have been receiving calls for someone in our household that no longer resides here but they keep calling. They call 3 times in a row play touch tone songs in the receiver and threatened to wake us up every morning.So we don't really care when they call it's time to get up and go for coffee. It must really annoy them when you ignore them and do not appear to be annoyed by their harassment. The caller seems to be more annoyed than we are given his escalation of harassment and childish games he is playing. The best way to beat them is to have fun with them instead. Be creative and play the game they will eventually quit.Interestingly when you call and reach one of the agents at their business number they promptly ****up. These people called me too and asked for some random person. I told the caller they had wrong number, asked if I was sure.I asked who she was looking for a***n, she told me and I said..sorry wrong number.She kept trying to ask me questions and confirm that I was sure it was the wrong number and I just said goodbye and ***g up.What you all got to remember is these people are uneducated people. They are unable to hold real jobs and get aggressive but they need 'successful' collections to get paid.Just feel sorry for how pathetic they are and **** up, block the number, or play a game and be really annoying and rude to them--make them ****up...I guess minorities and dropouts need to work someplace.

Today, my sister got a call from this number about my ***her, who we no longer talk too. My sister told the collection agency's lady that, and she called my sister a liar. Then, my sister asked if she could be removed from the list and speak to her manager. The girl said no, and asked my sister why she was home in the middle of day anyways.. (my sister is on maternity) This lady was awfully rude, and as soon as we get a hold of who's responsible, they are going down. The lady told us she was calling from TD....

A woman just called my number and asked to speak to someone I had never heard of. After she insinuated that I was hiding or protecting the person she was asking for, I ******ly confirmed that she had contacted the right street address, which makes me wonder: if they****ociated the phone number with the street address, how could they NOT confirm that the name listed for this number is NOT the person they are looking for. I did a 411 reverse phone lookup online and saw MY name listed for MY phone number, NOT the person they were asking for.  When she rudely pressed for further information, I told her I would not tell her anything more until she told me who she was representing. She wouldn't. Instead, she told me that she would just keep calling until she got the information that she wanted. This really upset me and, thinking that it was some kind of beligerent sales call, I told her to take my number off of her call list. Now I see from this posting board that she's a rep for Collect Com Credit. When I tried to call their number back I get a "number not in service" message. I work at home and unsolicited calls really throw me off. Now I'm getting harassed for a stranger's outstanding debt? What kind of sloppy business practice lets a company like this anger and upset people who are in no way involved? I am reporting this to consumer services and the ombudsman.

they call me constantly on my cell phone.... i have the real trax ring tunes on my cell phone now, so as soon as they hear Katy Perry singing "i kissed a girl, and i liked it..." they **** up real fast.i don't owe anybody any money, and don't plan on it either.

Got an a***sive ***** on the phone tonight looking for money. Thought I was being pranked by a friend, so I was a tad ****** with them. Once I realised this was a real call, looking for someone who wasn't me or anyone I know, I got REALY ******. If you owe these a** wipes money, I feel sorry for you.

I have been getting calls for months which has never been when we are home so they leave messages, I was hime today when they called and i said you have the wrong number and he asked if I had a new number, which I got 6 months ago, so I said yes and he ***g up.  One minute later he calls back and whispers liar to me and then ****s lup.

Last week and yes****ay as well as today  I was  called. Now,  I let it ring and they leave messages . What is the  purpose  of this anyway?

That number called me too. Your right it is Collect Com Credit (CCC). They were looking for one of my family members. I told the lady on the phone that he wasn't there and asked her if she wanted to leave a message. She said no, I said ok but can I have your name, I'd like to say who called. Well she went off on me calling me every name in the book. I ***g up on her and she called back 4 times in a row using profanity, threats and laughing at me. Needless to say I have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. Never in my life have I been treated that way before.

I received a call from this number quite a few times actually, asking for a Chris M.  Each time I tell them to STOP calling, yet they still persist.

This Someone called me from that number on my business number and they asked me is some MARK guy was there .. they asked me if this was some company that was similar in name than mine .. I told them no .. this is the second time they are calling .. and I am getting ****ed .. When I called that number back it said number not****igned which I do not understand !!

This is CCC - Collect Com Credit - a collection agency. If you are not the person they are looking for & they persist in calling you asking for that other person, write a letter to the Ombudsman of CCC - Rob Gaudette 3680 Victoria Park Ave Suite 100 Toronto ON M2H 3K1. In the letter tell them you are not "John Smith" (or w***ver they are looking for) and that they are bothering you at your telephone number (*******-****). At the bottom of the letter indicate that you are also sending a copy of this letter to the government agency that oversees collection agencies (in Ontario this is the Ministry of Small Business & Consumer Svc) & send a formal complaint to the ministry.
