Leave a CommentLOL....These people are ridiculous!I just off the phone with the Senior manager, "Daniel" from "Premium Incorporate"..The guy had an accent, sounded indian.....he also sounded like he was talking through a tin can(if that makes any sense). These people have been calling me for a few months(7 or 8 calls)...... Each time they claimed that I filled out a ballot at a mall between Dec 10th and 24th of last year... I 'politely' told them that I did NOT fill out a ballot because I WOULD NEVER DO THAT just to avoid **** like this... and also the fact that I was in the hospital during that time mending from a major surgery... then he said that a family member 'must' have filled it out then..BULL ****!!...if one of family member did that, they would KNOW that my common-law spouse and I DO NOT share a last name and they would have wrote MY name......D'uh.I actually talked to two people today, the initial caller was female with a slight accent, then she handed the phone to "Daniel", the senior manager... QUESTION: How many Senior Managers does this company have? By the looks of previous posts....quite a few....I think it's ****!.....with a capital C....
Just got off the phone with "Kevin". I let him do his spiel and then told him I wasn't interested. He wouldn't stop talking, so I had to hand up -- he actually called back, and demanded to know why I ***g-up! We had quite a lengthy debate about the value of this promotion and what was in it for his company. I've asked him to send me a copy of the "coupon" I filled out with the prizing and contact info in the mail. I am not expecting anything in return. :-)
Same thing... The guy said his name was Sean (had a heavy Indian accent, though - first clue) said we won in a contest based on a coupon we filled at Ca***ian Tire. Wifey called CT and they said this phone is not listed with them, I researched it and that's how I got to this site. It's all a scam.
Heh...Mark Simmons. You just called our house a few minutes ago from this Premium Buyers club and gave us the spiel. When we asked your name, you said it was "Mark Simmons". Such an obviously phony name from someone obviously South Asian. Get real.
I got a call to day by this company. They encouraged me to come with a partner/boyfriend/common-law in order to qualify for any possible prizes and that he would have to claim to live with me. Hmmm ....?They would not give me the gift confirmation number until I call back to confirm that I had some one and what time i could visit.Althought some posters have said that this is legitimate it seems like a scam to me.I will be wat****g this forum for more information.
Same here. I just got a call from a certain Jenelia who said I won and am supposed to pick my prize out of 5 which they are giving away. Then she passed the call to Paul Stevens, who said he is a Senior Manager of the alleged PREMIUM CORPORATION with offices at****5 Hwy 7 and Hwy 27, Unit 6, Woodbridge, Ontario and with contact number as reported above. I told him I would have to talk to my husband to schedule a time for pick up so I'd have to call him back. So I googled the company and nothing came up. I googled the address and found this site. Thanks.
Why this is a scam:1) although they say you get one of 5 prizes, the only prize they actually have is the 2 days getaway in a few places in the states and Ca***a. Interesting enough, we knew someone who had won this "prize" with the same prize company and they ended up never going because apparently, they never had any ****es. Moreover, you have to pay 50 USD in advance and oh, right, that money was never given back2) they get you there with a prize for a ballot you didn't enter. The guy on the phone actually said that we entered it from dec 17 - 31 last year in one of 75 malls. What he didn't know was that in that period, we were not even in north america. 3) when you go, you learn quickly it has nothing to do with winning a prize, it is about you paying a lot of money for some club that provide you apparent financial benefits, but the paper they want you to sign only states you membership of the club, not the actual services provided4) they want you to pay *the night you are there*. (lots of money btw, initially about 10000, when you kept saying no, it went down to 3000) When I told them, I'll think about it, go home and do some research, they were not interested anymore. In other words, they probably don't really offer anything as long as they get your money.5) aggressive sales people, wow. No kidding. Slick like*****, like trying to be your friend and all thatI recommend anyone who actually went to the place to keep an eye on credit ratings. This is a primary scheme for iden***y theft
I just got off the phone with them and I am going ther tomorrow with my wife and see what it is. i first spoke with Jeff who passed me to his manager Alex. One thing is that they could not tell me where I filled the ballot (one thing for sure not me) may my wife. I will psot tomorrow to give you an update. I googled their name but it came back empty, I asked Alex about their website he gave some bogus answer.
Steve general manager called. Gave me gift claim number. "hitcheor strings attached". Keep saying no pets or kids allowed in the gift area. I have an infant. Kept wanting me to get a babysitter. V ery Pushy. So I agreed to what he was saying just to get him off my phone. I'm suppose to go with my husband on Sa****ay at noon,
Already visit this place ...It was not a scam as people are saying here...i won cash$1500...and definately gonna speak good about them .. :) You should Visit if you receive a call from them..Regards, Mark Simmons..
Ok, so it's legit but it is one of those "direct buy" situations that ask you to join at an exorbitant rate to cash in on their discounts. If you take a lot of vacations or have a major reno to do, it will be worth it but if you don't.... They also can give you a great rate on mortgages but you can't take advantage of it unless you sign up on the spot. The prize is yours either way and if you choose to sit through the presentation only, without getting quotes, you still get the prize.
Going this afternoon. Will post back afterwards and let you know what the deal is....
hi guyz, well when i recived that call i also think that they r making me fool but my husband said lets check it out what is it we reached thier and satyed thier almost 90 min and u know in return i got a very bueatyfull furniture set for my living room n im sooo happy about it and surely im telling u guyz its not a scam its really nice place to go n get so****ink just freee of cost :-)
I posted this earlier in the wrong place, but here goes a***n.Just got back from our trip to Grand Ontario International. I got the same call everyone here got, spoke with Mr. Stevens and all. At first, I read the entries here, but decided to go check it out. I sat through a short presentation about the company and the future plans they have for furniture sales. I picked my prize- a Toshiba 42 inch plasma screen. I am very happy and will only say good things about them.Eveyone here asumes it is a scam, and didn't go. We did and it was ok! Let's just say, we are very pleased to have taken advantage of this promotion.Paul
this "company' is total bu***hit... dont waste your time.. f***ing scammers..
They telephoned a relative's house and itentified themselves as a close personal friend and it was an emergency that they get in touch with me. I returned their call the next day and they wouldn't even identify the name of their Organization and were insistent that they had ever telephoned in the first place. The original caller was a man named "Tony" however there is no Tony that works there - an obvious call centre based on the loud background noise.
If it's too good to be true it probably is. I got the call and I asked where I filled the ballot form in, the guy didn't know. I NEVER fill ballot forms in for this reason. Please be careful of a call from this number. Unless they can tell you when you filled in the ballot and you have a ballot receipt to verify (and even then I'd be wary) then FORGET IT.......
I also recieved a call today and pretended i was my ***her who won. They think he is coming to pick up his gift tomorrow. I used to work telemarketing as a teen and i can tell you that when you get there they will try to sell you thinks. I asked how long we need to be there for and it went from 20 minutes to suddenly 2 hours. Thats for sure a sell call. One thing about me is that you dont call MY HOUSE and talk to me like an idiot. When he calls tomorrow i will see the telephone number pick up and give him a quick disclamer and then he will be listening to me! He wont even know what hit him. They are rude people. Thanks for the varification guys because i googled the number and found this info on them.
I had a call the same the other day and told them i would call them back on tuesday to arrange a time to pick up my "prize"...i did not call and received a call at 930 tues evening grilling me and not allowing me to talk and finally i said..please remove me from your ballot as im no longer interested in reciving this prize as i feel you are being intrusive and harassing me. He continued on demanding further explanation as "he was going to get in trouble" and his supervisor would be calling me etc. after a full 5 minutes and my hands literally s****ing to shake ( he said "this is the most ridiculous conversation i have ever had") i had to **** up. I tried to point out that he called me and that i did not wish to speak to him any longer and he kept going on like an abusive controlling partner. I literally felt nervous and disturbed as they people have my phone number and therefore my address. This group has been the most insistant and threatening telemarketers i have ever encountered. Why do they think its okay to phone up someone and solicit and then bully when they are told "no". In future ALL telemarketers calls will be told "no" immediately followed by my ****ing up. Ridiculous!
Just got a call from Ontario Source Inc ( 905-754-5163 ext 110). Questions asked included age between 27+65? Married? Address? Guy on phone said I'd filled out a contest form & won 1 of 5 prizes. Wanted me to drop by office at****5 Hwy 7 Unit#27 and pick up prize. No strings attached. When I mentioned that I googled his phone # and several pages came up about a****ntial waste of time. I declined which irritated him. Glad I found your website !
