Just an UPDATE. Tmobile is now notified of this message going around and its being sent to there security department. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS NUMBER. IT IS A SCAM.

I got it also and left a voicemail stating that the police were notified. :)

I got the same text about twenty minutes ago. I'm not a Wachovia customer. SCAM.

Yep, got the same thing, a text about 1 1/2 hours ago saying Wachovia card 4828** is locked...i dont even have a Wachovia card, and it listed a New Jersey number to call back 908-318-0553

I got the same scam wachovia fishing expedition.... I think it's going to t-mobile customers only?  are you all T mobile customers???  Got the call earlier this afternoon, tuesday, 1/26

I got the same text. if you call from a nu,ber other than your cell it is dead silence. I called and blocked my cell number and got a busy signal. I called from my cell and i got a voice mail. A total scam.

I called from work, entered 0 hoping to speak to a human to get further info on the scam. I was ***g up on, a minute or so later I was a call on my work phone, dead air no one on the other line.I tried calling the number a***n. A human answered, and said the phone lines were crossed and I should try calling my bank back later. I never mentioned I was calling a bank!Scam!

Just received the same message and yes i also have t-mobile, and no Wachovia account.  I figured it was a scam so googled the phone #. How do I report this?

I just got the same text & I do not have a wachovia acct either I called the number from a lanline & it said the google cust is not available!!! SCAMMMMMM

Yep, Same here. I have T-Mobile and got the text. Called Wachovia and they said it was fraudulant.

I don't even have a wachovia account. texted to my tmobile cellphone. called the number on my landline would not take a blockedID. when I got thru it s****ed asking for info. tried pressing number 0 a few times but no lock. anyway I ***g up before it could finsh  asking me for info. is everyone being texted using tmobile?did a reverse trace, it seems to belong to Broadwing Communications LLC in ****ord NJ

Exactly the same thing happened to me. First thing I did was search on the web for this number and I got to this page. Then I knew it is a scam. Just for the sake of it I called the number provided by them. It directly goes to ask the caller about three pieces of information and s****s with a 16 digit card number. What a scam going on.
