it's a company trying to get you to switch to their energy provider.  be wary, they **** up when you ask to be on their do not call list.  they have been calling for weeks and won't stop--even when i told them it was a children's line.

I just received a call today at 11:00am 11/18/08.  The caller did not leave a voice message.

I keep getting the same call from the same number only if i answer it, it s****s ringing like i am trying to call them. i reported them to the do not call list, but apparently that doesnt do anything. they have called me about 10 times in the last two weeks. it is a new jersey phone number, and i live in new jersey which is the only reason i answered it. is there anything that can be done? i tried to call them back to tell them to stop calling and it told me the number was not in service.

ITs a DeBt Consolidation number. It is an outgoing only number !

"They" have called my number numerous times for a # of weeks, judging by the long trail of entries left on my caller ID files. Twice I have answered the phone when they called yes****ay and today. Yes****ay, I answered the phone just after the 2nd ring; the caller ***g up immediately after I said "hello."  Today, I answered after the 1st ring, I heard noise (talking) in the background with a man's voice (already talking to someone) in the foreground. As soon as I said "hello" the caller ***g up, with no comment to me whatsoever!  It leaves one with the impression I am under surveillance. In any case, they need to be investigated and stopped. The number traces to Gladstone, NJ

got a call from this number they asked if I was who I was and I said "Yes," which I know I should not have done, so now I am concerned, and then they ***g up!

I have gotten 5 or 6 calls today from this number.  I answered it twice.  I didn't hear anything so I ***g up immediately.  I thought it was going to be some kind of recorded message. It is some scam to steal phone numbers or IDs? What can be done about this?

How can we block this phone number from calling us ?

This same # dialed me twice today at 5:40 and 6:50pm and all I heard was voices and music right before they ***g up.  WHen I dial back it says that the number is "not in service".  What's up with that?  How is it not in service yet they dial people and **** up like they do?

This **** called me at 8:36 EST today.  When I answered, all I heard was voices in the background.

They actually just called my own phone ..but ***g up ..all I could hear was music in the background..it was a little creepy so to know it was just a solicitation really helped..thanks AJ!

This is a company which tries to solicit energy business.  requesting people to switch to their supply company.  They call my cell phone, which costs me money each time they do.  I asked to speak with the supevisor, inquired as to how they got my number, then requested that they remove my number from their list because it was costing me money each time they called.  The next day I got the same call a***n.  The woman would not put me throught to her supervisory but simply apologized and ***g up.  I plan to call the company and speak to someone about the additional call.  I am very very annoyed....
