NOT! i told him they were scammers, he said the company is Everyday Shopper (best i could hear through the accent, sorry) googled Everyday Shopper, nothing. filed a complaint with the FTC

Text was identical to message 2. I read on another site that the scam is that they ask for a credit card number for the shipping and handling fee to deliver the "FREE" prize cards. Didn't call it myself.
