Called saying that I need to call the number back that I have a warrant issued from the IRS

Male left a message stating that it was urgent that I call back immediately or else a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I have a law degree and have worked in the legal field most of my life. No one calls to WARN you about a warrant being issued. Also, a Court or attorney number would not come up as UNKNOWN. This is such a scam!

According to my tax preparer "It's definitely a scam! Ignore it. Your intuition is correct. IRS doesn't work like that. "

Said that they were declaring war a***nst us.

Called for a warrant for my arrest

Left a message on my phone that a warrant would be issued for my arrest if I did not call the number. Blocked it from my phone.

This number has called me twice today and left the same message. This is an IRS scam that has been reported on the IRS website. DO NOT fall prey to this scam. Like the others said there was a pending warrent for my arrest but no name attached.

Said that there is an arrest warrant out for my name and social but they didn't use my name in the message.

They tell you there is a warrant out for you and you're in trouble. Whatever.

Will be a recording saying you have an arrest warrant but you can call to avoid arrest..... scammer....

Robotic voice left a message threatening arrest and lawsuit. Called twice today but never gives a name of whom they're seeking.

Left a voicemail to urgently call back due to an arrest warrant. Called back and they disconnected me multiple times after saying I would not give them personal information.

I too got the same automated voice saying there was a warrant for my arrest for tax evasion if I didn't immediately call them back. I knew immediately that it was a scam.

Called me twice but I didn't answer so they left a voicemail with a females automated ma****e voice saying I had a warrant a***nst me? Never done anything illegal or even been to New Jersey.

Yeah i got a phone call just now saying i have a warrant and need to call the number back I called the number back and no one picked up so I Google the number and now I'm seeing all the comments definitely a scam

The guy leave a message on my voicemail that they will be issuing a warrant unless I call them back right away.

DNT know who they are just want them to stop ND further more DNT answer cause they will trick you into giving information as the IRS that they should already have just block the # please or they will get you

He called and said i had a warrant. The number claims its out of new jersey. Ive never once been to or passed through new jersey.

This person from this number keeps calling me and will not leave me alone. He knows where I live, work and other info. I had to block this number

Same as others are sharing. She is trying to scam people. 908-372-0947 is NOT IRS. I have the real IRS # in my contacts should I ever have any need to contact them. Ever. When you search for the true IRS # it is... 800-829-1040. They would mail out anything before calling. These scammers are terrible!

Got a call this morning from a women in a very thick Middle Eastern accent. Claims to be from the tax evasion department of the IRS, and stated that there is a lawsuit filed a***nst me. I actually dialed the number back and I got a Verizon customer message......lol

Got two calls from this number today. Lady with a thick India accent, couldn't understand her name. Said she was with IRS tax evasion dept. From Elizabeth, NJ. Got the exact call with the same lady about a month ago, but that call was from Babylon, NY

The message they left kept cutting off. They claim they are calling from the IRS, the tax evasion department. Seriously?! I pay my taxes. This sounds like a scam. Kelly Watson is the person who left the message. She had an Indian accent.

Claimed to be IRS need you to call us at 908-372-0947. Person was an Indian woman who's name is KELLY WATSON!
