the number it's telling me to call is  409-276-4247. same message same scam just different number. how do you get them to stop?

I have an acct with Wachovia so the text message woke me out of my sleep at 12:00 midnight and my heart was in my throat. I called Wachovia andthey told me it was ahoax. Now I am ****ed becsuse I can't go back to sleep. Since I was ip I googled the number andwasbrought to this link and decided why not tell my story too. the messahe was " Notification: Wachovia 4828**card is temporarily locked. Call at 9085740890.

Nothing happens when you call the number....Its disconnected. I tried it from a public phone.

I don't understand how and/or why these messages are being sent out. It's foolishness. 1st of all SCAM ARTIST....really though, 4828**....., AND the card is locked, ******... and for a credit card why the*****, no no no, why the f**k would i call back a 908 area code?? Customer Service is usually 800 or 888 or 877.....Who ever u are hacker.....You are so fired!!! Stop wasting people's time and get a real JOB!

I got a text "[email protected] Notification Wacovia 428** card is temporary locked.  Call at 9085740890".  It is obvious scam as I do not have such a card to be locked.  They are just trying to get someone to call them.  I am curious what the catch is?  They are trying local numbers.  Several days ago my wife got similar text a***n late at night.  I guess it works better when people are sleepy.
