I was contacted by a Mr. Carlton, in response to an ad I had responded to for a house rental at 448 Parkview Drive in Oceanside, CA. He said he would rent me his 3 bdrm house for $900/mo. security deposit of $1000. There was a sign posted in the front window of the property by Chamberlain Properties, the property managers. Mr. Carlton wanted me to western union him the $1900 and would then ship me the keys upon receipt of the money being received at his Receivers Address: 3913 Rue De Renard, Florissant, MO 63034. . Iconic contacted Timberland properties and upon actually speaking to the agent renting the property she said that there's no way possible that could be him and that they were responsible for renting out the property and then it was probably a scam I spoke to Mr Carlton afterwards and he was adamant it was his property and it's a total scam I'm sure just thought I'd let people be aware.
