this is a scam based out of India. they use American sounding names with thick Indian accents; always the same spiel. they always use VOIP numbers which can't be traced. Just ignore them. They will call any references you put on a payday loan in the past; that is how they got your info. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFO. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS

I just got the weirdest message from a Martin Reed stating that if I don't return his call, the situation will unfold on me.  Who are these people? and what do they want from us?

I get this number and it comes up on the caller ID as *11.  they are looking for somebody else and when I called back they wanted a bunch of personal information which I would not give them.  Now when I call the phone ****s up and says they are not receiving any phone calls from my number.  they blocked me.  It must be a scam.  Do not even give them your name.
