this is a total scam. if they call you, berate the s**t out of them. dirtbag scammers must die!
Received a call just a few minutes ago. Recording said they could lower my credit card interest rate and if I was interested to hit "1". Even though I do not have any credit cards, I was curious to see what they would say. Never got through to anyone. I called the number back and got a recording saying if I didn't want to receive anymore calls from them to hit "1" and I would be removed from their list within 72 hours. We'll see.....
I received this robocall just a few minutes agobut I'm skeptical
Got a call from this number 909-650-9121 today, 1/28/10, and no was there when I picked up the phone. Is this a scam?
Just got the call and searched on the number and found this site. I too answered and just got dead air, said*****o a couple of times with no response and ***g up. I wish someone could actually do so****ing with these calls. It seems these government agencies are put in place to do nothing. Going through the same with the Insurance Commissioner on some serious Co*** issues and after pursuing it I finally got "all we can do is send a letter". At any rate, if someone know how to get through the Red Tape and actually put this phone scammer to sleep for good, it would be great. Thanks.
Number showed name of "Credit Services." I didn't listen to all of it but it was similar to that which I received yes****ay with "name unknown." I'm listed with the "do not call" listings...so why do we keep getting these calls?
called at 9:00 am It was a recording to lower interest rates pressed 1 to speak to a live person. When I informed them I was on the do not call list they ***g up. Filed a complaint at donotcall.gov
Rc'd call Heather "final notice" to lower credit card interest rate: Caller ID 909-650-9121 -- hit 1, guy answered, told him I am on do not call list; have told them previously to not call a***n, asked for business info so I could file a complaint.... he ***g up.....
They just called me and also ***g up. I tried calling back but the system ***g up on me several times and I was not able to speak to someone. I have subscribed to the DoNotCall.Gov line for several years, so i submitted "another" report. I'm not convinced the DoNotCall.Gov registry actually does ANYTHING and am VERY disappointed that marketing calls like this continue to come through..
They've called several times in the past. This time I pressed '1' to speak to someone. They claimed that since I've been paying my credit card bills, they wanted to lower my interest rate to "reward" me. They wanted me to "confirm" my accounts by giving them the entire credit card number. I asked if "last four digits" would be sufficient. They said "No". I said that I was having trouble hearing them 'cause the line was bad (true) and asked fo a number that I could call them back on. At that point, the person on the other end said, "Thank you," and ***g up. I called the number on the Caller ID and got a recording saying that if I wanted to be added to their do-not-call list. Reported to donotcall.gov as I'm on the registry.
They called regarding my credit card. I don't have credit cards. This is a pain in the rear. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE.
The infamous "Heather from account services." I haven't gotten a call from these s***bags in almost a year. I guess they're in business a***n.
No message this time
I would not suggest answering the phone if you are receiving calls from numbers like this. It could be an attempt to hack your phone.
I'm getting a least once a week on my cell phone. That shady stuff about car warranty.
Just got a call from them a moment ago. I answered and no one spoke to me. After two*****os, I got ***g up on. I figured it was a prank call or so****ing til I saw this.
i recieved the same phone call. Wasn't too sure how they got my number. But they offer a good deal for a 100000 warranty for my car. They said they are the Great american insurance. They also claim that they send like three packages to me on the policy stuff....I should of ask the address,,,,bet it's wrong on that one too.....Well i did not buy in to any of that. I really think is a scam too.
I never picked up on this call that was made to my mobile phone.
I got a hold of Telephone Management Caller ID, this phone number is registered as a client of theirs. This number belongs to "National Notification". They're practicing shady stuff here. Non-identification, and possibly running a scam.I think they qualify themselves as an "Event Notifier" service to get through legal loopholes, but this is just outrageous. They call with an automated message that claims my warranty on my car is about to expire, and that I need to renew it with their live operaters. I've never purchased a warranty for a car (contrary to their claim), nor given them my phone number to contact me.Recommend reporting this to the FCC, FTC, and your local BBB.
