Never gave my number to get either a phone call or text- just seemed a little leary on what he was offering to do. Only discussed through emails- address lead me to a Hotel and phone number lead me to this site- saw the comments and decided not to do business! Thanks!
heres another one, craigslist scammer - but im gonna have some fun with him and let him waste his money on overnight shipping of the fake check and whatnot.
He used the name of Henry Lopez and Michael Gonza*** when he tried to buy some items from me on Craig's List. He offered to pay me with a Cashier's Check and even give me an additional $50 for being so accommodating. He claimed to be a busy member of the Marine Corps. He is also a very bad writer.
Just**** a 5000.00 check from this person. Knew immediately it was a fake. Notified fedex and the authorities.
This person replied to our Miami Craig List ad in an odd way. He wanted to send us a certified check and arrange for local pick up without providing us any information about himself, except that he is a busy US MARINE. Also, he never checked the item and expected to have us accept a check for an even higher amount. He went by the name of Michael Gonza*** and the following e-mail [email protected]. He does not write correctly, but sounds interest. BEWARE

got an email from this guy from Craigslist wanting to buy so****ing. After reading these comments, I will NOT be doing business with him. Thanks so much for these comments!!!
I played this idiot along for six weeks. I ended up sending him monopoly money. I would ask him why did you send a certified check and want money send back via western union. He sent a check for $2800.00 dollars for a $300.00 item. He says he is from South Carolina but I got the check form San Diego CA from another guy. I just kept telling him that he has involved so many people, and different addresses that I sent the money to this address, then told him more and more bull which had him so mad he was yelling at me in bold text. He actually called me in his thick east Indian accent... I told him it would cost $180.00 to send him his $2390.00 back to him and he needed to western union me the money.... he made up a million excuses why he couldn't send the money. In the end he paid for a certified check to be send over night via Fed ex... what a dumb a**. I was a lot of fun toying with this guy........
Just contacted me on craigslist, thanks for the heads up.
I am glad I found this. I reported him to the FTC. right away. I knew so****ing did not seem right about the response at all.
I get a hit from this guy every time I post on criags list. I give him the address of one of the local police departments to send his check to. I'm sure he'll catch on soon enough but I figure he has to spend some money on the UPS delivery of his bogus checks. I can't wait for him to report me to law enforcement!! lol
this guy emailed me about a bike i am trying to sell on craigslist with an offer that sounded to good to be true so i did some research and found the comments below. thank you guys for all your help with this guy
Daniel Domschot 3 emails in two days wanting my address and that UPS will pick up item for sale and he has no time to look at it. Sounded odd, I live in Chicago and he is in N.C.
a guy named Michael Gonza***, who by the way has a very strong african accent - not hispanic, contacted me offering me a job doing payroll from my home for a company based in the UK. I would have been cutting personnel checks and sending them out. I decided to google his number before committing to anything. glad i did! I filed a complaint with the FBI for internet crimes.
This guy Daniel Domschot has been emailing me for 2 weeks saying that he has mailed a check to buy my sofa listed on Craigs List, which I have not received. I have also been getting emails from my credit card companies and Facebok saying someone has been trying to access my personal info -- all after I sent him my address and phone # so that he could mail me the check. Just Googled him and found out he' a TOTAL SCAMMER - which I suspected all along. He also told me he is a US Marine.
Guy texted us as William Barron, yes we had an ad running on Craigslist too.
this guy was gonna buy my subs and he was wanting to mail me a check. so i checked him out. thanks for the heads up!!
