this # has been calling my land line and cell. Called the # back and a recording says the number is not in service.

Keeps calling verizon cell...won't leave message. tried calling it back, it states it is a "unknown number" try a***n....

Just worried that this may someone I know in trouble calling from a payphone and it won't ring back...

This is a Verizon Wireless number reminding you to make a payment before your service terminates.  Verizon confirmed this for me quite readily.

I am getting daily automated calls and they think I am someone else (penny jenkins) and the automated call states there is a problem with my payments and I need to call them back and give them a refernce number.  So far verizon denies it.

has called past 3 days...automated recording saying its verizon...i called verizon directly and they have no record of this number in their company...i have had this problem with verizon in the past...if your account is just a few days past due a false collection account will call you...i have 3 numbers blocked because of this do not give any information to anyone that calls you from this number or claims they are verizon collections call verizon directly or go to a store...

VZW has a call center in wilminton NC. They are prob calling if you are eligible to upgrade your phone ey they never seem to leave a message

CALLING MY CELL LEAVING NO MESSAGE

I called the number back 910-338-4182. This is Verizon's automated "bill collection" system for past due wireless bills- This is a legitimate number! I followed the prompts and received accurate information (i.e. my exact past due amount) and indicated when I would be paying the bill to avoid service interruption...

I get calls from this # at least 3X a day...I tried calling the # on a land line and it rings 2Xs and then nothing... it's some kind of scam for sure.... I just have it blocked to read - don't open SCAM!!

Keep calling my new cell phone every day and is an automated system saying they are trying to reach a Terisa with an important call from verizon. I bought a pay as you go plan from walmart and almost from the first day I have had these calls. It should be ilegal to publish my number or for verizon to call me every dasy looking for another person, wasting my minutes. If anyone knows how to stop this, please give me advice. I have already published my new number with the National Do Not Call registry.

I think they are calling me because I was on the verizon website yes****ay, looking at new phones.   My contract expired in 2007, and they want to give me a deal to roll my phone over to the new 'droid' or whatever......

It's either a bill collector or a scam,see if your message center can cut off answering,that may save your minutes. It calls me on my landline, I just let it ring.

Yes it is verizon have verified it is one of their numbers for their call retention center in all that time I was on with them but no one can tell me WHY they are calling.  It has now switched numbers today to 910-794-6221 and that one does leave a message on my cell.  This is a waste of my minutes  have told them they have no reason to be calling me since am not a Verizon customer do not know the person they are calling about and so on.  So am going to report them to the BBB and see if they can help in some way.

Over a period of 2 days this number called me approx. 5 times. Never left a message. It was bizzare.

Of course I have gotten nowhere, been on hold with Verizon and Alltel (who I have my cell through) and neither can seem to figure anything out as to how to fix or stop it.  Keep getting transferred, cut off, told to call a different number, etc.

It is the Verizon Customer Retention center am getting the same calls for some Rita Naomi.  Tried calling the number back but since I am not her it of course wouldn't work for me.   So I called Verizon directly 800-922-0204 and pressed 0 a couple times to get a person.  Was a little ***ved since I am not a Verizon customer and have had this cell number for 6 yrs now so not like it was recently or ever someone elses.  They supposedly took care of it.  Time will tell I guess.
