They already fielded my insurance rate request, but continue to call repeatedly.

called me repeatedly insisting I wanted an insurance quote which I never requested

We put in an online quote a month ago and even though letting them know they were NOT the cheapest rate and we went elsewhere, so please stop calling, we still get calls.  Now we learned a LONG time ago, never give out your REAL number and it's why we got a throw away cell phone number.  We only turn on the phone when we are actively sear****g out quotes from anybody, and that way, we aren't bothered on our real phones NOR do we rack up unwanted air time loss and checking VM's to see who left a msg.  We are looking for windows now and the phone has been turned on since Friday afternoon: we have received THREE phone calls from HomeOwners insurance rates.. funny.

Whomever it was called both my house numbers. The 2nd time they let it ring like 20 times. No voicemail so why would you sit there and wait that long for someone to answer???
