I think they have the recording s**** when your message s****s if it's going to voicemail.  I always let it go to voicemail and all I hear is the last 4 numbers of their phone number.

I got a call from 913-378-9448 at about 5:52 pm left on my answering ma****e. All the man said was, "913-378-9448, please call," very abruptly, very rudely, as if it was a collection agency calling. He didn't ask for me by name, or leave any clue as to why he was calling or who he was calling for. I want to thank you all who have posted info about this call. It was a HUGE relief to know just WHO was calling me!! I have no caller ID service, so I want to thank you for the information. I must say that the way I was contacted by this organization does not cause me to WANT to contribute anything to their charity!! I'm relieved to have this info. Thanks a***n. This incident occurred on 10-21-2009.

called came today, no name on caller id, but knew my name, phone is not listed in my name.  stated they were big brothers and sister's asking for donations, then wanting to know if they could call back...was told no...would like to know if way to stop people from calling under non-profit status..

They call 3 times a day even when I tell them I have nothing to donate.....s****ing to drive me crazy.

I have received calls from Big Brothers Big Sisters before (don't still have it on my caller ID anymore) but they always left a message. It seems that this particular BBBS company/number has called our home, yet they have not left a message. I agree that it sounds a little su****ious.

This is a number for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.  They call asking for donations of clothing/household items, etc.

Called my home phone today, but left no message.

Phone call was before 8.  I doubt an authentic agency would call before 8 a.m.

No, it really is BBBS- but they call daily! It's the most annoying thing I have EVER seen!

Called left messages about some big brothers and big sisters BS.Have no idea why they would call me?? Next time they call there getting a ear full. Sounds like someone trying to run some kind of scam. or bill collector using sneaky tactics. Have no clue really.
