Constant calls and **** ups from these guys. At least 4 times a day (on my business phone!) and when I see it on caller ID I always let it go to voicemail.

Received a call at work. Very distracted man -- asked if I was the owner. I work for a large company, clearly am not the owner. He was talking about ordering take out with guys in the background. Then he blurted out my coworker's name (we work in the same group, share a few phone lines) and would not reply when asked who was calling. I transferred him to my coworker to see if he would leave a message. He did not.

Phony chiefs of police donation seeker scam. When you call back you get a recording. They are calling from Yonkers near NYC, the Chiefs of Police****oc is located in Schnectady NY about 3 hours away I am on the do not call list but that doesn't stop scammers at all.

I let the call go to voice-mail. It was a robo call. A rapid female voice wanted me to take out a low interest rate loan.

caller asked for me by name. I did not acknowledge it was me. I asked who's calling .  He said his name was Gary Damon. I asked what it was about. He said there's no message and ***g up. We got a call last week at about the same time from California (323-634-7807) asking for my wife by her maiden name by someone with the same voice. He didn't leave a name but also said no message. i strongly think the calls are related. Did anyone else get the same combination of calls?

Just received a call from this loser asking for my wife. He stated that he was a police officer, but didn't have the courtesy to provide a name, badge nor police department number. As is required when identifying yourself as a legitimate police officer. I was already advised by my ***her who happens to be a real federal officer, to watch out for these scam artist. They have no dignity nor integrity, yet will call people for money acting like cops. Not to mention my number is on the registered " do not call list" and is also private. Don't take their call nor waste your time, if they call you. It's a scam.

Just got a call from this number came up Yonkers, and they said they were from the New York State****ociation Of Chief Of Police, looking from money.  Just checked they are head quarted in Schednecty New York and their real number is 518-355-3371.

some cop asking for money sound like a scam so i ***g up after i told him i have no way to pay an he keept going on..

This number calls my home at least 5 times a week. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize and they never leave a message. STOP CALLING ME !!!!

this is a scam! ny chief of police asking for donations. real police do not ask for money since that's what taxes are for.

this person calls every sa****ay. i picked up once and hes like im calling from the police department. do u wanta donate money?? i had a feeling that this is not true. so i told him il send u money so gimme your address. he didnt wanta give it to me. !! hes a nut!!! everybody ! make sure u dont  get caught!

Got a call from these guys this morning.  Called back and there was a message with the following number: 800-509-7514.  I called that and it gave me the option to remove my number from their system.  It was all automated and I didn't have to speak to some idiot that had no clue.

Calls will not say any thing just ****s up.Calls and asks for my wife by her Maiden name.If I say she is not here ****s up.

caller called said  his name was alan. asked for my sister by name and when i said she wasn't home he said he would call back.

they called at dinner time, ans ma****e went on, they did not leave message.  I don't have caller ID so I had to waste 79cents+ on a *69, then reverse-searched it only to find out it's probably some dead-end  or scam.

number called here asked for wife by name, she asked who it was,  he said William.  She said William who? He said its not important, I'll call back later.  Then he ***g up.  What is this and where are these calls  coming from?

Probably trying to sell so****ing. It may be a scam. Private "Police Chief" organizations do fund raisers to raise funds occasionally, however this phone service was extremely shady. If it was legitimate, they hired the wrong telemarketing company with poor communication s****s. They make it look like a scam. Called my house (don't remember his name) saying it was from the NY police department, if i could give a small donation to help less fortunate children...i told him i couldn't do it at the moment but would be more that happy if he gave me an address where i could go...he said "we'll give you a ring later" thanks byevery strange...
