I have been receiving calls from debt-collectors when I am NOT in default (or even late) on payments to any creditor.       A fellow who identified himself as "Jason Edwards" just called my home, was very pushy & accusative; and he refused to tell me from what organization he was calling.  I refused to confirm my name when he called -- because I have no idea who is actually calling, their organization, or their ethical standards.  This person's behavior suggests a scam of some sort (not a reputable company seeking payment for a legitimate debt); and I am concerned about what sort of mischief they might undertake to soil my personal credit history.     This "man" is NOT calling for me, though he may be calling for someone whose name I share.     Google states that there are approximately 918,000 listing for individuals with my last name and three common spellings of my first name.  It is probably one of these poor souls that this so-called collector wants.     May the God of all Righteousness and Justice cause His judgement to fall upon these abusive people who bring false accusations a***nst the innocent.

i thought it was illegal for telemarketers to call on sunday or past a specfic time at night. like 8 or 9????

Some more info...Will do some more research on these people. It looks like most of them have LinkedIn accounts. I am hoping others could help out too. It would be nice to get their personal phone/ssn/birth date/address/e-mail and whatever else. Looks like these clowns have switched from 312-878-9507 to this number. Someone needs to do so****ing about these RPM *********s. We need to put the Patriot act to good use on these RPM *********s to see if they have ties with Al-Qaeda or others. Given the tatics they use who knows if they ever funnel money to the likes of Al-Qaeda. Last time I checked waterboarding is still legal and we need to root these clowns out!

I receive these calls from this number non-stop all day long and when I answer, no one picks up. They **** up. If it is a bill collector why don't they speak to you and explain why they are calling. When they **** up, they turn around and call right back with another number and a new name on the caller i.d. I don't know what to do to stop the harassing calls. If I owe a debt, my debts are being paid off right now so they have no reason to harrass me. ugh! get a life people!

This is the number for RPM - a collection agency.  They aren't nice, they are verbally abusive and they are relentless with the calls.  I am averaging 15 a day, which is excessive.  Wil make payments (I do owe a debt) directly to the creditor - NOT to RPM.

They call me every night at exactly 8:44pm. Tonight, I picked up the phone and they asked for someone. I told them I don't know who they're talking about, and the caller told me his name and that we was in Washington (which is a lie, it's a New York number). At any rate, I told him to stop calling, and his reply was "pay your **** bill and we won't have to call you". I ***g up then called his extension back repeatedly from a blocked number- I managed 10 calls in 3 minutes. Hopefully they'll get the drift

Called my cell phone at 9:45 pm. Connection was very poor; disconnected after I heard two very far way sounding "hello"s.

Always calls at all hours. Does not leave message. Based on all the internet research it's some sort of debt collector calling themselves RPM. Based on people who had actual converstaion with the company, they were also rude and abusive.
