I just got one of these calls today!!! Saying the same thing, that I commited fraud!!! They are the ones committing fraud--and should be stopped. I am reporting them today. Plus, they're really ****** too. They never called my by phone or sent me a letter. If what they state when they call people is supposed to be true, they would of had to send a certified letter and contacted the people by phone before getting any further. What a scam!

I am experiencing the same thing.  They keep calling my work number and saying I took out a payday loan and never paid it back.  I did no such thing!  Then they won't tell me anything and that they want my lawyer's number. I asked how they got my information and one guy ***g up on me.  There's a lot of background noise with laughing and such.  They are all Arabic and can barely speak English.  This is a scam so how do I go about getting rid of them!

Called and told me i had a hour tothem$200 on June 23 and$498 on July 1 or go to jail in 1 hour.Reported this to my bank had the account close and Danbury CT. police Department.Justin Floyd 914-373-7038-fax-206-203-4079

I have been getting calls from these number as well.I guy name Max Morris has been calling me.He told me a law sue was filed a***nst my name,ss number,an email address.I was also told a police officer would come to my house on a sa****ay an arrest me an take me to court.I find this to be very usual court being held on a sa****ay.Courthouses are closed on the weekends an holidays.

All these numbers same thing coming to pick me up because theres a lawsuit a***nst me

these peoople are pieces of work. i was told that i was being investigated and me and my employer will be arrested if i dont call back then i called and was lied to about who they were

we also got calls from this number as well. So far thay have called and threatened jail and arrest of my son, son in law, daughter, and daughter in law. why is there no place to call to have them arrested for harrassment? They say each time that there was a pay day loan owed and in all instances there never was a loan taken out. I looked it up and it shows 2 different cities in New York for this number. I believe they are calling from outside the U.S.. It is totally a***nst federal and state law for a debt collector to not only threaten a debtor with jail, but to misrepresent themselves as a police officer or an attorney. Check the F.F.D.C.P.A. and your local state law. They kept calling my house for my son so I told them I was going to track them down and have them charged with harras*****t and sue them for violating my rights. Eventually they stopped calling my number.

I received a call from work from a lady named Lisa (heavy foreign accent) who stated that she was calling from the law firm of Bakers and McKenzie and when asked where they are located she would only tell me Hoffman Lane, Campbell City, CA and that a law suit was filed a***nst my name and ss.  When asked for more information she would not give it to me so I ***g up.  She then called me immediately back left a voicemail on my work phone and my cell phone stating the same thing.  So I called the number back and got a man the first time who said I had reached David Harris Legal Services and when I said what is your address he would not give it to me but then I said how is it I was just told by someone that its Bakers and McKenzie law firm he ***g up on me.  So I called back yet a***n and this time the same man said that they will just show up with the police I said be my guest I will be waiting for you.  He ***g up on me.  The last call I got from them was someone else stating that they would not give me any information unless I verified my personal information and I told them I would not give them anything they ***g up on me.  But when I asked the last man that I spoke with where they are located he tells me Chicago and when confronted about the California address I was told I was lying and would be arrested.  What a joke!!! Why is it that ***ody that calls from that number speaks clear English and the number is a New York number anyway!!!

I got a call from a man named Dave.  He said we had until today to pay them 961 dollars or I was going to go to Jail.  They were going to my supervisor and then they would come get me and take me to jail.   My wife called them back and and they told her that i had to be in court on Thur.  and if i was not they would arrest me and put me in jail for 3 years.  They would not give me the name of the company that was seeking money just that it was a payday loan that had not been paid back.  Would not work with us to make payments.  Would not give any other information.

A lady by the name of Tina with a thick accent has called from ACS Law Firm stating that we committed fraud and that they are sending a police unit to our place of business to arrest us if we do not pay the $775.00 that we owe them.  I told the lady come on down and we will be waiting for them.  Come on, no debt collector has the authority to call the police and have you picked up?  Does she really expect me to believe this? This is a scam so beware and they wont stop calling you and use different numbers so just play the game and politely **** up or c****e your phone number.
