I've received numerous calls from this number. There is never anyone on the other end.  Some of the calls have been before 8am.  I called the number back and it's always a recording BUT I pressed 1 and thenthe number to opt out from receiving future calls.  They say it takes 30 days for it to become effective.I never donated to the March of Dimes before and now I'm so angry at them that I never will.

Says March of dimes on caller id. Calls once or twice a day when I answer no you is there.

I called the number back and it was the March of Dimes.  I pressed 1 for more information. They gave me the option of entering my phone # to remove it from the list.  It said that it could take up to 30 days to remove my number but they would make an effort to remove it within a few days.Very annoying they call at all hours.  I have been getting 2 calls a day from as early as 8:15 AM to as late as 10:45

Unfortunately, Ed, the Do Not Call List does not apply to charitable groups and election campaigning.  ***mer for all of us.  Thinking I'll get my landline disconnected.

This is a daily call from this number at all times of the day for weeks on end; no messages ever left.  My next stop is the Attorney General's Office in NC and they do get results!  The Do Not Call List doesn't faze these slimmy creatures.

Agree with your post. Have had several calls over past week on daily basis. Had one Sunday evening shortly before 9PM then a***n Monday am @ 8:40. No one answers, either open line or dial tone when I pick up the phone. Consider the repeated calls harrassment and if I had any intention of donating to support them, they have annoyed me to the point that I would never give them a dime a***n!!!!!!

Calling daily for two weeks. Called back and went through the prompts to remove my number after reading about this on another website. I hope this works. It really irritates me that charities can keep calling over and over.  Send me paper mail but DO NOT CALL ME! I feel it is an invasion of my privacy.

They have called 13 times over 17 days.  Caller ID says Pleasantvl, NY. No one is on the line if I pick up, and they NEVER leave a message.  If it's a legitimate caller like some say and it's the "March of Dimes" why doesn't anyone speak?  This is harassment, plain and simple.  I hope the March of Dimes can do without any support from me.  Looks like I send their money to the A.S.P.C.A. from now on.If everyone who receives these harassing calls would do the same, maybe they would get the messagethat this is the wrong way to solicit funds.

HELP. They are calling me once or twice a day!!!! I've told them 3 times I cannot donate any money and to please please take me off their list. Now they call twice a day. Please tell me what I can do!!!!!!

I am getting calls from this # 3 to 4 times a day. No one is ever on the line. If I call the # back it automatically says if I want more info about the March of Dimes press 1. These calls come in the early morning and evening. I am going to call the March of Dimes local office to complain.

This number from Pleasantville, NY keeps calling my house and I do not even know where Pleasantville, NY is.

I will never give to the March of Dimes now.  They have harrassed me for the last 3 months.  Calling 3 & 4 times a day.  They even call late on Sa****ay night at 9:30pm and Sunday morning at 8:30am.  Who are these people.  This is an invasion of my home, I can't live here in peace with these ****** calls.  I should have some legal way of stopping them.  They don't answer if you pick up the phone and if you call the number back, you get a recording. I think I'll call the number and stay on the line until someone answers, I may go shopping and come back to the phone later to see if the recording ran out.  Forget my number -Don't Call It.  It's on the don't call list anyway.  Stop why don't ya.  Someone tell me how to get these idiots to stop waking me up and distrubing my peace.  I'm going crazy with these ****** calls.  Just stop already.

I have received multiple calls asking for my****istance with the March of Dimes.  I have repeatedly told them that I am battling cancer at this time and cannot help out as I have done before.  Is there no way to keep these people from callling me constantly.  I am on the do not call list, but I understand that does not affect charities.  Surely ill people should not have to be subjected to this constant barrage of calls.

They call and there's never anyone on the other end of the line. We don't owe anyone any money and are on the DNC list. You would think by now these people would learn what the DNC list is and what is means.

We get several calls a week from the #914-984-2931, caller ID simply states Pleasantville, NY. Normally the phone only rings once then stops. Sometimes it will ring twice and I can pick up but it disconnects. I don't know who this is but it gets really old, especially since I am the only one here in our small office the majority of the time.

The first call no one came on the line even when I said "hello" twice. The second call the woman stated that she represented the March of Dimes and had no volunteer in my neighborhood.

Every day except Sunday, twice a day, for two weeks and 3 days. RIDICULOUS! If this is March of Dimes, don't support them until you research EXACTLY how they use donations! I had supported them for 6 years after my best friend had premature twins. She learned the facts about the company she crusaded for, and talk about scams...

I get two to three calls a day from March of Dimes, but if you answer the call they just **** up. March of Dimes - you should be more careful to check the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

Thanks Wisconsin.  I did the same as this number was dialling several times a day.  At least that is one of the many I receive that I have been able to eliminate:))

They call every day, sometimes more than once a day. this has been happening for months. We don't answer.

They have been calling 4 and 5 times a day for weeks.  I put a block on the number that shows on the screen (Pleasantville, NY} and each time they call from a different number.  They certainly are determined to have me answer the phone.  They even call on Sunday.  One would think after awhile they would get the hint.

I've gotten two to three calls daily from this number for the past few weeks.  Caller ID says March of Dimes.  I called the number back and at the end you can opt to have your number removed from their database which I did.  It can take up to thirty days for this to happen.

March Of Dimes. I have asked to be removed from their list and now they are calling multiple times a day. Whenever I answered they would **** up, so I blocked them on caller ID. They are still calling even with the call block enabled.

They called a***n and I picked up.  It was March of Dimes asking if I would collect for them in my neighborhood.  I've done this for them before, so this number is legitimate.

Caller ID says "Pleasantville NY."  I did not pick up and no message was left.
