I received this message last night. Called the number this morning from my work phone and noticed it was "no longer in service". I'm an AT&T customer in central florida and do not have a McCoy Fed CU account.

Left a text message that my mccoy credit union account was closed. I suspected so****ing was wrong since the this isn't even McCoy's phone number.

Someone stole info from McCoy Credit Union and is using it to phish for personal information.  You could get a message via snail mail, email, voice mail or text message.  My account has been closed for 3 years, so I went to the McCoyCU website and they knew about email.  I got a text message that showed the same number.  Don't call back or respond in anyway...that will only prove that they got some current info.  This will surely hit the news in a day or two.

same thing happened to me just now seems like since these times are so close it's just a mass call for some scam. DO not call it back it may be your charged to connect to that number.

Sent me a TM saying same thing. I responded "Nice try jack***"

This number sent me a TM to my cell telling me that my account at a credit union (which I don't belong to), is closed due to unusual activity and I need to call them.
