TEXT MESSAGE TO CONTACT THEM TO SET UP YOUR ANNUAL MEDICARE APPOINTMENT WITH A DOCTOR. I ALREADY HAVE DOCTORS THAT I SEE ON A REGULAR BASIS. THIS IS A SCAMMER TRYING TO GET YOUR MEDICARE NUMBER.

I've gotten a few of these text messages about wellnes update and that I should call for more info to them. I never respond to stuff like this,

Updating Medicare wellness for a genetic test that would be sent to my home

Said I had missed my annual wellness checkup and they wanted to send a kit to my home

Wanted medical information to qualify for a medical screening kit …. To be sent to my home

Message from 800 #, gives this**** # as callback. Text says I'm due for my Medicare-covered wellness update, so they need to review my health status and preventive screenings. Since my primary care doc takes care of all that, it's clear that this NY-based caller is trying to get me to respond with personal info that could be used in some scam.

Claiming I am due for Medicare wellness update and need to review my health status. A medicare wellness update is done by my primary care doctor and NOT so****ing Medicare solicits. This casket is a scam call, trying to get my Medicare number so they can fraudulently bill Medicare for services I'll never get from them.

Message to be for Medicare from a one 800 number. But the callback number was this one. It makes you think that it’s for Medicare telling you you needed your wellness check. They’re probably trying to get your Medicare information. Do not call the number.
