These people are scam artists. Report them to the New York Attorney General's office -- that's the state they work from. What they are doing is not legal.
I received a phone call from this place. When I s****ed to question the "REP" He transferred me to "Jenny Johnson" the Attorney! When I a***n confronted her as to who they were and what debt I "owed" she stated that if I did not pay I would be arrested by the Sheriff in the morning and ***g up! I called back to the number she gave me and spoke with another "rep" and when I confronted him as to what this debt was and who did I owe it too, he became f****ered and could not answer any of my questions and said "Jenny Johnson" was at the court turning in papers and he could not help me. He then ***g up. When I tried to call back many times they blocked my number. After trying a***n I did get through and I could here them in the back ground telling each other I had called a***n and ***g up. I think I will continue to pester them until they quit pestering me with their SCAM!!!!

917-310-7036 kept calling my cell and claiming to be American Legal Services. The real American Legal Services web site states that this is a scam: "There is currently an offs**** scam. These scammers claim to be from American Legal Services. They call people telling them that they must send money today or they will be arrested tomorrow. If you are called by these people, do not give them credit card or any other numbers. Get the address they want you to send the money to, then call your local F.B.I. and report them immediately." - www.americanlegalservices.comI hope this helps others. Please do not ever convey your credit card, bank, social security number, or any other personal information to unknown individuals...ever!
