I have been receiving lots of telephone calls, while I am away, from that number and from numbers with that same area code and prefix. They don't leave any messages; however, I have learned that there is a network of hucksters out there, attempting to pull all sorts of scams on people. Some are vacations scams, phony prizes "won", collection "agents", and other gim****s. The bottom line is that they are ALL out to lure people into being ripped off of their money. The best thing is to ignore and never reply, block where possible, and report when intrusive. Posting comments on websites also alerts people to the phony nonsense and scams out there!
