Today (9 Jan 2012), there was a call from what looking like Home Protection (917-398-9***). They did not leave any message but they also used the following company name (A New Company)

It called and said if I wanted to win money

Yeah it's a scam. They call me once a week like just now 10/11/11. They leave a message. Goes like this...."But if your a home owner and agree to place one of our sign's in front of your yard we'll give you a FREE SECURITY SYSTEM, Yes, that's right a FREE HOME SECURITY including installation. Press 1 for a Rep. OR Press 3 to be removed. If you didn't pick up the phone most likely they'll call back because you didn't press 3 to be removed, like me. This backs up what AMANDA stated below WCA bla,bla,blauh

WCA Promotions and Home Protection warranty company then gives $100 giveaway.

I don't answer numbers out of my area code unless I know the number or person calling. Nope they didn't leave a message, I even listed my number on the "DO NOT CALL" web site... ugh. how can you make them go away, not fair that our cell phones numbers are out there for anyone to call us on...

Different # but same people that want to give u a "free" alarm system. It sounds like a ripoff.
