A call came to my work place after 10am this morning.  It was answered by front desk who stated caller had a foreign accent and asked to speak to me and when asked his name, said it was a Joseph ***** and when asked nature of call, stated it was an emergency, then quickly ***g up the phone.  I don't know anyone from area code**** and with the weird call, its obvious a scam of some sort. I hope this person gets caught and quits making these type of unwanted calls.

this person Tom Jackson has been calling me for the past two weeks trying to collect money from me. He also treatened to take me to jail if I didn't pay the money. When asked by my company for their physical location he said 130 E39th street which turned out to be a hotel.I am going to report them to the FBI and the Federal Trade Commission.

A man called this morning saying his name is Tom Jackson (maybe Johnson) looking for my sister. After some extensive sear****g, I've found that the number comes from NY between the AVEs of 16th and 15th off of 7th. The number was registered on May 10, 1999 and the carrier is XO New York, INC. I have contacted the FBI who says to give them a call if they try to contact her a***n. They're a scam. If you come into contact with this number yourself, do yourself a favor and contact your local FBI office and report them. If there isn't a report and they're trying to scam money from you, its better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, called me 3 times saying they would come take me to jail if I did not fax some info and pay some money.
