Leave a CommentBy the way guys, Harte Hanks doesn't have an office in India. So the racist comments kinda just hurt your case.If you want your number removed, just call 1-800-456-9748 and give them the number and the company name.
I just received a call from an Indian call center asking for a specfic person here. I knew it was an unsolicited sales call and he lied to me about what the call was really about. One of India's lowest castes is "Dalit", so next time they call say you know that Dalit's either work in call centers or clean public toilets.
I just received a couple of calls today from this number. Heavy Indian accent. Cut him off and told him not to call a***n.
They keep calling and knew my name, I have received calls from them before asking about our computer systems. They do not leave a VM. I googled the number finally and found this site.
This guy is unbelievable, i ***g up on him 3 times in the last half hour but he keeps calling back...ET go home!!!What the heck is harte hanks anyway????
The guy called twice and was quite rude to our receptionist.
Our company has received three calls from this number in as many weeks. I keep telling them that I will NOT give them any information on our computers or network capabilities, and that they should remove me from their calling list. Perhaps their heavy accents prevent them from understanding plain Engli***
Tired of this number. I don't even answer it...

This is the 5th call in as many months for a Technology survey from the company Harte Hanks. Callers have an Indian accent. Each time I have asked them to remove me from thier call list, but they just keep calling back. I reported this to the FCC today.
Rec'd ph call from****-595-1700, at 4:33 pm, 3/18/2008. I recognized this ph number from before. A bunch of telemarketing dirt bags. This time did not answer. The *****s are persistent! - AL

Received a call from a woman with a HEAVY Indian accent. She spoke very fast and stated she needed to verify information they already had on our company about our computer system. I asked her to spell her company name which she said very fast and I kept responding with (Sorry, could you say that a***n, I am not able to write as fast you talk" I pressed on by asking her whom they had originally obtained the information from she needed verified and exactly when it was obtained. She was insistent that I could answer her question(s). I just kept trying to get her companies information until she ***g up on me.
A man with a very thick indian accent called me a few minutes ago (at work) and he wouldn't give me his company name or say his name. The call sounded like it was coming from VERY far away (he was faint and there was a fair amount of static on the line). He said that he wanted to confirm the computer information we had given him last year. He new a sales person's name and he knew the ***nch managers name (first and last). I said they were in meetings (I'm the gatekeeper!) and he said that I could answer the questions. I told him I couldn't because computers are in offices that are locked. I offered our head office's phone number a few times but he said he only wanted the information at our location. Eventually I just spoke over him and said 'here is the number for head office... goodbye'. It sounds like a scam... trying to get information so they can hack into our systems and steal information, maybe? I have no idea, but I would suggest not giving information out!
Our company has gotten this call before from Harte-Hanks. This particular time it was an Indian(?) sounding woman that said that she needed to verify information they already had on our company about our computer system. The previous time I told the person that she needed to speak to our IT dept. She was insistent that I could answer her question(s). I told her I don't have the authority to release that info and that I would be transferring her call. She ***g up after I initiated the transfer. Today, the woman agreed to be transferred on my first try, but then ***g up before I could get her transferred. BEWARE!! This could be a fraud, integrity-test, or primary-research firm. The area code, if American, came up as cell phones, etc. from the buroughs of New York City and occasionally landlines in Manhattan.
Our office****istant keeps getting calls from****-595-1700 with a very push man with a thick (indian?) accent who keeps asking about our networking setup. Anytime she offers to transfer the guy to a tech person he ****s up before she has a chance. Which is a real shame as I'd love to get a chance to talk to this guy and find out a few things about his company.
Just got a call from this person 30 minutes ago...I'm getting calles at work about IT info about 3 or 4 times a week now
Got a call from the same number today. The guy had a strong foreign accent and when I told him we had an IT department that handled all our computer information, he said he didnt need to talk to them, I could just answer the questions. As I was explaining that I am not at liberty to discuss our computer system with him....the **** ***g up.
This number calls my CELL phone. I didn't answer either time but I did just try to call it back. It is a foriegn voice prompt that I can't understand completely but I think the company name given was "Energizer"????? That's what it sounded like anyway! It said to dial your party's extention. I have no clue who this is!
This company calls my business quite a bit and they always want to know about our computer systems
Keep getting calls in my office from "Jay" several times a day we just put them on hold until they finally **** up.
