Same as many others. Told me they were the police, said my husband’s name. They said he had been in a car accident, was alright, but because the other person was in critical condition, he had been arrested. That sounded like BS, so I said, “No…” and the guy ***g up. I have a NY phone number but live in WA State. ‘Didn’t think the police would call me from an out of state number.

Caller asked for 2 different names, identified themselves as the police department, then used foul language

Named a relative, said they were involved in car accident and needed to be bailed out.

Claimed that my sibling listed me as an emergency contact and they got into a car accident and was arrested for reckless driving. Said the other person is in the hospital. But, I know my sibling and ***g up after trying to confirm some more details. Called my sibling afterwards and they were chilling lol.
