I received a call from 918-208-0751, so I called it back. The call was answered by a recording that said I had reached 'Rewards Redemption'. It gave me the option to press ‘1’ for a representative or to press ‘2’ to be removed from the calling list. I pressed 1 just to see what would happen. The representative promptly answered and according the person’s accent my call was obviously routed to India. The gentleman, who was very nice and persistently tried his best to get my name, said that their company is 'Value Pass'. I asked him how they had obtained my number and he said it was because I had visited the 'Nationwide' website, which was one of their affiliates. There were a lot of voices in the background so I believe this was an actual call center and not just ‘Peggy’. The problem was…I had not visited a Nationwide website much less provided them with my cell number. I ***g up the phone. I will be reporting them to any ‘Nationwide’ business I can find.
