The people at The Law Offices of Works & Lentz are heartless s*** sucking ***holes who are nothing more than a glorified collection agency who will not work with you at all. I tried to work with some punk employee named Eli but he would not. "**** YOU ALL"

(Cashplease) Did it ever cross your mind that maybe people don't have the ability to pay their hospital bills or Works & Lentz, thus the reason why they are receiving calls from them in the first place?! Durrr!!
You got a bill dude!
These people are the worst slim on the earth
The company with this phone number.. 918-592-2420 is an attorne'ys number. It's the Law Offices of Works & Lentz. They are collection attorneys hired by organizations consumers are in debt to. Mainly medical bills as those tend to be quite costly and by and large left at the end of everybod'ys "bills to pay" list. Don't let this one slide too long though. I found out the hard way that in addition to getting stuuck with court costs, these people also charge attorney's fees. Typically their fees are based on a percentage of the amount of the debt you owe said company. Sometimes, they even lump several medical account numbers together in order to collect a larger fee. Consider yourself fair warned as they tend to be somewhat sneaky in getting a settlment before you are even notified of a court date! They are REQUIRED by law to notify you of the court date so that you may appear and pleed your case to the judge. If you don't receive the notification in time and don't show up in court they still manage to get the judge to enter a judgement against you, somtimes even getting a wage assignment!
You have a bill
This is works and lentz and they are lawyers. they will take your a** to court. fyi
Don't know who they are. Stop callin me.
Actually it is a legit Attorneys office. And they will eventually get a hold of you. Otherwise good luck getting your unpaid medical debt off your credit report. hope you like high interest rates on loans, jack***
Got a call from 'Anne Green' at extension 276. I have no debts that I even owe on. So I tried calling her back today, a business day, it's not lunch hour, and all I can get are message machines. Some 'Law Office'.
No we don't act we are a legal law office!
i made payment arrangements with them and had to miss 1 payment because it came down to paying that or getting evicted; im sorry but a roof over my head is more important. the witch (b instead of w) made it clear that she would pursue the best interest of the client....its not that im not wanting to pay, i do, but my survival is more important. so i guess now they want to take me to court, which will not ge them the money any faster. its bu***hit that people who are actually trying to do the right thing and pay off the debt get such a hard time from these fools.
Best thing to do is never call back any debt collecter unless you plan on paying them. Let them take you to court and prove it's your debt. I got a suit filed against me one time for 5,000 for a credit card, the card was only 1500.00 balance at time of charge off. I let it charge off because the card was stolen and I couldn't get the card company to take care of the issue, after months of dealing with them it became a nightmare so I just said forget it (don't judge) I'm not in the habit of not paying bills, this was a unique situation. Anyway almost two years later a junk debt buyer tries to collect $5,000 for this chareg off which they probably bought for pennies on the dollar, this is their business. A law firm in OK City filed against me on the junk debt buyers behalf. I denied the charges, asks for proof of debt, did all the case filing back myself, they dropped it, couldn't prove the debt, because they didn't have all the information. Case was dropped, didn't even go to court. SO beware, unless you want to pay a junk debt buyer don't ever talk to them on the phone. Do everything in writing and let me take you to court. If you go to court and don't win, then what's the loss really, if you don't go to court and pay them, either way you might have to pay so what does it hurt to make them prove it, fight it! Going to court you may even get the amount reduced. Most of the time, if it's a junk debt buyer, you won't even end up in court.
This is a collection aganecy, Works & Lentz
I had payment arrangements with Works & Lentz to pay a hospital bill for my son. I paid them $150/month. I called them in July (after my payment) to tell them I was switching bank accounts, which meant missing August payment. I was served court papers in September. They are taking me to court for about $1,100. RIDICULOUS considering I had been holding up my agreement and told them the reason for the August payment delay. Court date set for mid-October. I have to pay in full for it to be dismissed before the court date.
Works & Lentz have been sued before in the Oklahoma Northern District Fed court and in Connecticut for violations of the FDCPA and FCRA. Just because they are debt collections attorneys does not mean they can break Federal law.
This is Works & Lentz, they are a collection agency and they are a law firm. Of course the collectors are not attorneys, but they do have 2 or 3 attorneys and process servers on staff. If you do not call them back, they WILL file for a judgment against you. What do they have to lose, when they get the judgment, they will also get costs and attorney fees.Even though it is hard to pay my bill, I do and they are always quick to work with me when I need to extend the deadline, etc.
Called my work one day I was off, didn't call them back but looked up their # on google and found out it was Works and Lentz Collections Blah. I can't think of why they would be calling me. It was a Robin Dawson 592-2420
They have called twice so far, first time no message, second time a message for me to call them but didn't indetify themselves. If they would just state who they are and what it is referencing, I would call back. I won't until they do.
they called me today and the message the lady left said she was chief of police. I'm sure its a trick for me to call them back.
This number repeatedly calls my number and there is not a person on line. Many time I have waited for somebody to answer and get a dial tone. I have no clue what they want and why they keep calling.
I recieved a call from this number on my cell phone but they hung up before I could answer it. They then called back within just a few minutes and only let it ring once again. They didn't leave a message or anything.
this 'works and lentz' is an attorney's office specializing in collections.to me this means they're a collection agency acting like attorneys.called my cell phone twice looking for someone else. told them wrong number twice now but i doubt if they'll be smart enough to figure it out!
This is Works & Lentz. An attorneys office.
