Unknown caller, Services provided in part by "US LEC OF NORTH CAROLINA, INC." The way I see it, the spammer pays for service. The service is provided by US LEC OF NORTH CAROLINA, INC.. If the provider of the service does nothing to regulate the use of the services, then they are also at fault for causing the problems.

Called my direct dial number at work. It was a recording advertising home security systems. It gave options to press 1 for more info or 9 to be placed on their do not call list. I pressed 9 and the call was immediately disconnected.

Had this number call both my phone and my mother's phone today. Left no message. From the comments I see, I'm guessing it doesn't do any good to try and block it huh?

No idea. I called the number back and it stated to press a number to be removed.

Got call from this number a few days ago on my MagicJack unlisted phone number then today got one on my cell. Have both numbers on the Do Not Call List and it doesn't do any good.

They call my cell phone all the time asking for a Ruth Edwards. I'm not Ruth Edwards. I'm sick of it

You are calling a large hotel company and since you refuse to take our numbers off of your call list despite several requests, your number has been forwarded to our local Security Team as well as our Corporate Legal Team in Washington, DC. This is harrassment and you are impeding on our business - if you continue it will be legally treated as such.
