Same as many complaints above, says Southeast call and there is no one who speaks. Calls frequently, I had this same problem with a different number in Charlotte, NC. Annoying!

caller always calls about 5x a month says that they are from the Yellow Pages and want to update our info in their system and this gets us free listing in the yellow Pages for the next year. Always wants to send so****ing to us in the mail and we can respond to them thru this info tht they send. We have been asked to be removed from their list each time and they indicate that we have to just talk to their supervisor and we will be removed from the list. This of course never happens. Always get disconnected before the "supervisor" comes to the phone.

Keeps calling and not leaving any message. Calls many times a day. Wish I knew where they were located so I could go kick some ****.

This idiot keeps calling for my ceo. When asked whats his name is or what this call is in reference to, he ****s up on me. My job has caller id so we no longer answer their calls, it goes to our automated system. They call at least 4 times a day. Too bad they wont be able to talk to anyone here!!

Heard others talking in the background and realize it was some type of call center. I ***g up.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be updating the yellow pages............after a few questions, they wanted me to verify our coversation.  I told them I would not do that...........I didn't have a good feeling about call.  Who are these people, really?

I answered the phone when this number called. After a few seconds I got a recorded message that "Your call is very important to us. We will be with you shortly." Since their call was NOT very important to me, I ***g up.

My mother just called me from her home phone and this number popped up on my caller ID!!!  She called me back a couple minutes later and it still popped up this number!!  What is going on?????

Interesting that they call asking for "Shipping Manager or Supervisor". When questioned and asked for a name of the person they are trying to reach, they studder and **** up. Or when asked where they are calling from, they **** up.  This is a scam, this number shows up as a number in NC...but I live in the area code and exc****e that this number is "suppose" to be coming from...but that number does not exist in my area..its a proxy or scam or whatever.  we get numerous calls a day at my business from this number...and it is always some kind of a call hiding behind a fake number.  Don't give them any info. If they are so afraid that they hide behind fake numbers and a fake name like "SouthEast Call"  then they do not even deserve to be acknowledged, and certainly they don't need to get ANY info from people.

Calls me at work wanting me to call an 888 number to see about paying of some bad checks or so****ing. Says he is suppose to come and issue me a warrant but does not feel like it, then asks if I know anything about these checks. I told him no, so he told me to call this number and talk to them because this happens all the time and he does not feel like coming over. He called me back at work a couple of hours later and asked why I have not called them and I told him that I was working. He sounded frustrated and said it sounded like I wasn't going to call them at all. I told him I would after I got off work. He said OK and ***g up.

They have called me everyday.  I finally answered the phone and the woman said they debt collection agency calling about a very old account that I owe money.   This account is not even on my credit report so I don't owe them anything.

Called looking for my mother, who's elderly. I wouldn't let him speak to her. Told me "this is a LAW enforcement issue, young lady." Right. He finally ***g up when it was obvious I wasn't going to let him speak to her without telling me what it was about. Clearly a scammer.

They call all of the time, leave no message and only have fast busy when I return the call.  These types of calls should be illegal!

Got a call from this number twice within 15 mins. Looking for someone that used to have my number. They said theywere going to serve the guy with papers for writing bad checks. Also gave out the mans "account" # to call and deal with this before he is "served' papers at his place of employment. Left an awful lot of personal information on a voicemail, wonder if that is legal? Also said that if he had the wrong # to disregard the message, I trid to call it back and got a fast busy.

Yeah, this is odd to read all these comments.  I got a call from this number and I let it go to voice mail.  Looked it up on here as it was ringing and found this page.  Turns out it was my allergy doctor (robot voice) calling to confirm my Thursday appointment.  That's so wild that it turns out to also be a ***** number for other businesses!

My boyfriend calls me from his Skype phone at home and this number comes up instead of his actual phone number, so it's not always a bill collector or sales call.  It may just be someone calling using a phone service other than a standard phone company.  It's not a dedicated phone number.

I spoke to them today. It's quite possible that this company just sells their number to collectors and the like. My call was from AES (student loan servicer). They're the most antagonistic company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Don't get private student loans--if you don't qualify for federal loans and can't get scholarships etc, save to go to school. Don't let these vampires sell you a dream of improving your future by going to school, only to try and get blood from rocks when you graduate and can't find work.If I could, I'd tell them to shove it and only pay for my federal loans. The federal servicers are all a lot nicer and more helpful. AES tried to argue with me when I was out of work and couldn't pay as much.

This number keeps showing up on caller ID. They never leave a message. I reported them to my phone company!

I continue to recieve calls from  "southeast call" 919-576-2540. they never say anything or leave a message. calling from early morning till late at night...  always busy when you try to call back... I would LOVE to be able to speak with them.. I dont think They would want to call back~! cowards, get a real job!
