Just got two phone calls from this company.  The representative had an Indian accent and told me that I was approved for a $5,000 grant that would not have to be paid back.  Then he proceeded to try and get my social security number, my bank account number.... typical scam operation.

Received a call from this thickly accented person, wanted me to become part of an educational effort - I go to school, so I can better myself.  When I finally told him I was retired and had no interest he went away.  But, his whole demeanor was demanding, and after asking him three times to tell me who he represented, his answer was so slurred as to be unintelligible.  He also did not know who I was, since he asked to speak to the person who belonged to this (my) phone number - sounds wierd - but I can't learn who this is because who's privacy...!?
