This is the second phone number I've tried to call back to remove my number and it doesn't even ring. Just silence. What is that all about???????

I know people like to think and insist they are on State and/or federal do-not-call lists, when they are really not. An excellent example is one of my employees, insisted she was on the federal do not call list. She did some of my state and federal scrubbing and was SHOCKED to find out she did not get scrubbed out. It happens all the time, before you threaten a company, confirm it. Most of these companies are in compliance, and you can be wrong about being on that list. I am not affiliated with this company, but I run one of the most sophisticated call centers in the state of wisconsin, we are 100% compliant and it costs us thousands monthly. I hear at least a dozen times a day that I am gonna be fined because they are on DNC. 5 years later, I am still compliant, and never fined.

I am on the state and local do not call list. I have requested they not call a***n. they claim the call lists are scrubbed to detect do not call numbers and that they cannot be liable.  I said, oh yes you will be and that I was filing this complaint.  I am not a past or current customer nor did I solicit them or make an inquiry to them.  It is sad that going forward I will not tolerate this and callers who may be legitimate are going to bear the brunt end of my unhappiness with all the unwanted calls.

It is a mortgage company who doesn't have any business with as. We are on do not call list, but they are calling with their business offers anyway.

This number appeared on my caller ID.  I answered the phone after about three rings and there was no one willing to speak to me at the other end, so I ***g up.
