It is the Contra Costa Times.

I too have been getting multiple calls from this number.  I am on the national do not call list as well.  This is very irritating and I wish it would stop.  No message is left and the times I have tried to call back the phone just rang and rang.

I've been getting 2 missed calls a day from this number for the past week now. When I called back, it rings twice then I get a greeting message of a woman with a Filipina accent (I****uming) saying so****ing like, 'all of our  agents are busy****isting other customers, please wait for the next available agent.' then it goes straight into their voicemail. It's really annoying. It's obviously not a business.

West County Times......Offering me a subscription......REALLY annoying.I just kept calling them back to annoy them!Finally got a person and requested they quit calling

I saw on the caller ID this number called so I called back 2 hours later & blocked my number and some lady answered normally and just said*****o? I dont know if she really was a tele marketer or just someone.

One more thought...If you have trouble getting a hold of them, remember that what they are doing is ILLEGAL..."robo-calls"! Unauthorized calls can be reported to the commission online or at (877) 382-4357 (877-FTC-HELP).Telemarketers who violate the new rule are subject to fines of up to $16,000 a call. The ban prohibits automated calls regardless of whether the consumer has done business with the seller. Calls placed by humans aren't banned, unless the phone number is on the national do not call registry.There are no humans on the other end! I hope some of you will call and get these people to stop and maybe get them fined!

I got them! I called back and someone actually answered! I guess they aren't as busy, being a holiday! Regardless, it was The Daily Bulletin trying to sell their paper for some 50 cent deal. I couldn't believe it! I told them take me off of their call list ASAP! So, if you can't get them at that number, try The Daily Bulletin headquarters.

I get a call from C F M 925-281-6420 for a few days in a row. I get the usual: 1) A message that all agents are busy.2) Transfer to hold music for a few seconds.3) Transfer to a ringing phone.4) Disconnect.when I try to call back. I live no where near their area! Can't this annoying idiots be stopped?

i been getting alot of phone calls from this number who is it. they wont say anything. its bugging me.

They call many times but **** up when I pick up the phone

they keep calling me and i'm on the do not call list. what do i do now?

I get annoying calls from this number daily. It is especially bothersome at night. They call around 7:30 then at 8:00 or 8:30.

I must add I am on the do not call list and yet I receive their calls.

We have been getting so many calls from this number.  Many times a day, every single day of the week.  I never answer any of their calls and they never left a single message.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

I got 2 calls on my cell phone today from this number. There was no response when I answered. I just had ****** surgery on Thursday and it was no fun trying to reach the phone.  I am on the national do not call list. Can so****ing be done.

THEY HAVE CALLED ME TWICE AND **** UP AS SOON AS i ANSWER.  I am on the do not call list.  I thought it was a fine if they solicit you.

I keep getting a call from this number once in the morning around 9:30 a.m. and twice in the evening.  I answer the call and no one answers.  The call in the evening are around 7:30 then 8:30.

Received many many calls from this number.  As it is an unknown number to me, I don't answer it and the caller does not leave any messages.

I called the Contra Costa Times an left a message with a Jeff @ 925-935-2525. He is in marketing. He voice mail advised he would call back. When he dose I will express my irritation. You can call 1-888-382-1212, or go to "donotcall.gov" and register your phone number.

it would be funny were it not so pathetic.  I stopped taking this paper because the delivery was so haphazard - apparently so is their marketing.

These people have called me everyday for about two weeks and they never say anything they just **** up

I received a call yes****ay.  I called back and received a busy tone.  I tried a***n today and it was answered by the Contra Costa Times.  They were calling to let people in my neighborhood know that they were going to distribute free newspaper over the next week.  I told them i already was a subscriber and to never a***n call me with any type of solicitation.  They said they would put me on their do not call list.

Second time this has happened and when I call back it's ALWAYS busy!
