How a debt collector from back east called me from a local number is beyond me.

Got 3 calls from the number.

Called twice in a row and don't leave a message.

Called about a debt that i've never heard of. I only a few debts (enough I can count on one hand) and I know that's not one of them considering my debts are on payment schedules. They tried to tell me they were collecting on a check that had bounced on over $500. I have never written a check for over $100 and would never write a bad one at that. I think it's a money scam. The guy barely spoke english.

Called about a 'debt' I never heard of from a city I last lived in well over 15 years ago. Putting aside the fact I was never contacted once about a debt for over 15 years, if the 'debt' was even 'real' in any remote way it is WAY zommbified and past all statue of limitations. Unfortunately can not find an agency to go with number. If they try anything though, or put anything on my CR I will thoroughly sue their behinds.

This is the fourth call have received regarding a debt owed by a Tim somebody and I am tired of receiving these calls. I have owned this number for four years and know of no Tim anyone. The other call was yes****ay from a different number:
