When you call the number back you are automatically asked if you want to be placed on "no call list". I'm skeptical and worried that I hit "1" as required.

Just got a call on my cell phone but I don't recognize the number so didn't answer. It was identified as Clayton, CA and it's 7:00 am in the morning there so definitely su****ious. Blocking the number.

Spammer...claimed to have sent letter on expiring auto warranty...wanting to know if you want to extend coverage. When I asked what letter? They ***g up
