caller said represented Visa and Mastercard about applicant from Michigan using my name for a new credit card. Listed credit cards I have plus one I did not have and then he asked me about an expiration date on my Visa card and then he told me the balance. He seemed to have access to my credit report (not sure) and told me I paid my cards in full monthly and my credit was excellent. Then he offered me $3000 free credit on my credit cards then I ***g up. they called 35 times before I answered because I left my phone in my coat in the closet. I called my credit card using the number on the card and they told me about how no organization represents both Visa and Mastercard, confirming it was a scam.
