BEWARE… This is a scammer posing as u.s. bank! I used to be a bank manager, I know what signs to look for with a fraudulent call. This phone number is more than likely a s****er phone, I checked it I’m been verified and there’s ***ody attached to it. I have been applying for personal loans with very bad credit. So in essence it’s difficult for me to find a loan. This number offered me a $5000 loan for five years at $95 a month with a total payout of $5880. Only make an $880 off of me over a term of five years just sounds absolutely ludicrous especially for someone like me who has terrible credit. Right off the bat it sounded like so****ing was very fishy. Next they wanted me to pay upfront and insurance fee to take out the loan. $300 for the insurance fee! I asked them to verify where their headquarters was and they did verify it correctly but as soon as they told me about the upfront insurance fee in order to take my loan out which I knew was not right, I said I would contact the one 800 number for US Bank and verify if this is was legitimate. So I contacted the customer service number for US Bank, and they did verify that they would never ask for money upfront for a loan, and that they only offer loans to existing clients. It was then a had determined that this was completely a scam.
