I know I've posted on here before, but just thought I would let everybody know, that I have answered the phone numerous times and told them not to call back, called the 1-800 number and told them to put our number on the do not call list. They weren't even on the phone when I answered, all I heard was silence the majority of the time. Finally, they called a***n about a week ago and I answered, I told the man to put the number on the do not call list and he asked did I even know who they were or what they were calling for, I told them yes, that I had looked it up on the internet, he had no response and ***g up the phone. Guess he didn't liked the fact that I knew what they were up to!!!

Got calls from this number several times the last few days.  Got recording when called them back. Wish they'd stop calling.

Calls all the time...wished they would shut this operation down.  Answering ma****e gets nothing but static.

I also get calls from this number.  They call at different times - early morning, late at night.  I have blocked this number - hopefully they will stop calling.

This same number calls us at least once everyday, if not every other day. Very irritating. When I answer, they half the time dont answer... twice they have asking for the head of household, when I reply that she/he isn't here, they tell me they will call later or another time. When they told me the first time that they were STATE TROOPERS giving courtesy calls, I knew it was fishy because what trooper or anyone of the law would care enough to give random people a courtesy call??? Well when I saw these comments, I knew for sure. Thanks to you all!

What is the do not call number, I'm tired of them calling me.

this number keeps calling finally found a do not call number, hopefully this will be the end of it.

I just got a call from this number but did not answer it.  I looked it up and then remembered reading somewhere, last year, that there was a direct number to call and speak to a person about having your number removed.  The man was friendly, removed my number, and I never got another call.......until now.  I guess what they say about :Never" is true.

They called me all the time.  It does get a little tiring.

it says local call back did search on it came up as state trooper donation line out of shelbyville tn, but when i picked it up no one was one the line just got dail tone and that was it i would have no problem with this if they would stay on the line to talk to you

They called me for the first time today.. same MO. Will put them on black call if it happens a***n.

Number leaves no message on phone. I am on no call list.

I get calls from this number two to three times a day. No messages are ever left.

This is twice this person or who ever has called. Very tired of it.

I called the number back because I have been getting calls from it 2 or 3 times a day. I called the 1-800 number as well and it has an option to "put your number on the their do-not call list". Did that this morning. And still got a call from them tonight.

So tired of getting this phone call, my caller ID says local call back  and everythime we see it we ignore it, but it's getting old!!!!!!

Called tonight..no one said a word.  I called back and got a recording that they had phone problms and to call back in 48 hrs..NOTE...dont give anybody money over the phone...It might be OBAMA trying to get more money from you..

They said my name three times and then ***g up

got call while out and no one left a message and i cant find any info on who it is.. i have had a couple of these calls from different numbers and cant get any info on who they are..

THIS IS A SCAM. MY HUSBAND CALLED IT BACK AND DID SOME RESEARCH. THE OWNER OF THIS NUMBER WAS CONVICTED OF FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THIS FAKE CHARITY!

TN Troopers****n is a scam.  They claim they are calling to raise funds for their 'Child Identification Program' and go on to ask "You would agree, sir that even one missing child is a tragedy?"  Give me a break!  Geez...  The company doing this are paid solicitors that give a very small percentage of what they collect from the public to the cause.  They are using a very real issue to sell their B.S. and make a profit.  I don't know how this goes on year after year.

On caller ID, it's listed as "local call back." No message. But we are on "Do No Call" list and really are tired of being bothered.

This number calls sometimes more than once a day but no one ever says anything. I did call the number back & got an automated system saying this was the information line for the American****ociation of State Troopers/TN Trooper Members & that they were going to ask for a donation & they were sorry they missed me at that time. The problem is, they don't miss you, they just don't connect the call to anyone.Anyway, this automated system gives a customer care number to call for more info (1-800-327-***0). I did call & was actually able to reach a live person much to my surprise & when I told them of the 931 number calling & no one saying anything, they said it was a computer dialing malfunction & they would pass it on to their tech dept to get it fixed but that number is a fundraising number for them. I also had them add me to their do not call list & they said it takes a few days for that to process & go through.I hope all of this helps! God Bless!

Call ID says "LOCAL CALL BACK" but I don't answer calls I don't know.
