Do not call my home!

AACC has been caling my residence for 3 years regarding someone I'm not even sure really exist! And for 3 years I have asked them to stop. when I request the name of the person calling i get nothing. And I have complained to the FTC. AACC is still calling. What's it going to take to get them to STOP!?

I do not know who they are or why they are calling two-- three times a day thi is very up setting as my wife am myself are disabled an this is a very trying time for us I am 70 years old and my wife is 66 years old and has had three operation on her neck for a broken neck as the resoults of a car wresk that was a hit an run and left us with more bills than anyone in this wourld would want. Called out of the blue on my cell. Didnt identify herself said I owed over $700 from 1989 and was not allowed to tell me anything else. I don't owe anyone and have held an almost perfect credit rating for over 20 yrs. I'm freaked out!

They call at least once a week and I try not to answer and I have no answering ma****e but when I do answer they say the same thing the other people have reported "this call is for (name of person who does not live in my household). By continuing to listen to this message you are acknowledging that you are such person..."

These people have been calling us off and on for months. We've gotten the message saying "if you continue listening you acknowledge you are someone you are actually not" message over and over. I plan to report to the FTC and encourage all of you do too.

These people call about once per day! No message. I think it's an automatic call system.

keep getting these calls from this number. Called my phone company and there is nothing they can do, but suggest the DO NOT CALL number. We are already on that list.

For the past 2.5 years, "AACC" per caller I.D. has been calling my home asking for "William Mullens" - calling at all hours during the day, evening, weekends, leaving automated voicemails, and ****ing up on me when I explain that ***ody by that name lives here, and I have no forwarding information, nor do I know who this person is. Today I asked to speak with a supervisor and told the caller that this is tantamount to harassment, and would she would not put me through. I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling.

ask for mary barnes. call constantly. sometimes its a computer, tonite a woman called and then ***g up when I told her no one by that name lived here.

This company calls my number 3-4 times a week. I do not have any bad debts and do not know why they are calling. Got yet another call from them today on my cell @ 8:40 PM. This time it was actually a human asking for someone with a Vietnamese last name. When I answered, they immediately asked for this person and did not identify themselves.

Any debt that is 7 ears or older, is automatically removed from your credit report. It can be renewed only if the company that holds the debt takes you to court to reinstate. If reinstated, it will be valid a***n for 7 years. After 7 years, and the debt is removed from your credit report, the collection agency can still call you and attempt to collect the debt, but if you don't pay it, there is nothing they can do.   In my case, AA bought my so called debt from The Marquis Apts. They claimed I owed them 1 month back rent when I moved. I have advised them and AA numerous times that I wouldn't pay them because I don't owe them this extra month as I did not have a lease (I had month-month) and was paid in full. Why they keep calling me is beyond my understanding. Fortunately, it has now been 6 years, and will be removed permanently from my crdit in 1 year. I told they will never blackmail me into paying and that if they call I will abuse their callers to no end.

Going through the same thing with****et Acceptance!  I had a debt from Wells Fargo in the early 90's that was taken care of for about $1500.  Then got a letter in the mail from****et Acceptance about 3 years later saying that I owed them $3000 for the same debt.  They told me that it was a government funded student loan and that could not be taken off my record from my bankruptcy.  I got nervous and s****ed paying them small monthly payments that I still could not afford.  Then I s****ed reading about all the illegal **** they are pulling and realized that I *****ed myself.  I stopped paying them a***n and now I get about ten calls a day on my cell phone from this 940# it rings twice and ****s up or when I answer it there is no one on the other end!  I also get calls from a 319# that I****ume is another # of theirs.   I do not know what to do?  Should I call my bankruptcy lawyer and find out if this debt is actually valid or did I really mess things up when I s****ed paying them a***n?  I obviuosly cannot pay them $3000, cannot handle my cell phone ringing off the hook and not to mention the negative mark on my credit report!

Received a call from them this morning at 6:10 AM. After I advised the idiot that called me that it was illegal to make solicitation calls before 9AM. I proceeded to 'ball' him out for 30 minutes before he finally got the message and ***g-up. I would be suprised if I hear from them ever a***n.

Got this call on my cell at 7:55 PM on 6/19 asking for someone with a Spanish-sounding name. Also from****et Acceptance. Have no clue why they are calling me. I have had the same cell # for 6 years.

I have also s****ed getting calls from this number.  They do not leave any messages and **** up if I answer.  I'm going to send them a letter in the mail to stop calling my number (they legally have to when they receive that letter)

After checking out this number on the Internet,I discovered that it is a collection agency. I do not owe anybody anything. I have excellent credit and I have never received a collection notice. To me, this is harassment, pure and simple and I want it to stop.

These folks keep coming after my daughter who had some bad debt, but has seen her way clear. I think they make things up and try to get you to give them money via scare tactics.

My phone has logged call from this persistant dialer, up to 5 times a day and well outside of the leagal calling times for telemarketers.

These guys have been ringing my number for the last 7 YEARS asking for the wrong person with the wrong information every time.Point blank and simple, I'm filling a legal complaint a***nst them to the highest level possible.  7 years of being harrassed a***n and a***n is too long!!

Asset Acceptance continues to call despite the fact that I have filed an affidavit with them (from the FTC) that has established I was a victim of fraud. They continue to harass. There's gotta be so****ing in the lawbooks that prevents them from continuing to harass, especially since the credit bureau removed the account in question due to fraud!

Got a call 3/27/08 while I was gone, from this number.  That area code is for sparely populated Wise County, Texas north of Ft Worth.  No big cites there so they must purchase some phone numbers to fake people out.I keep the fax program in my computer activated so that if I don't answer in 3 rings, the call goes to fax. Doesn't seem to ***** up their computer calling ma****e, but at least I only have to listen to 3 rings.

They called today stating they were with calling on a past due collection for Providian Bank. They had the last 4 of the social wrong. i****ume they have a name and are trying to get anyone close to the name and social and that they are a collection agency. tell them that is not yoru account nor social.

I screen all of my calls.  I glad to have come across this website and am able to identify the phone number.  I'll use this service a***n.

I have spoken with representatives of this company (Asset Acceptance) numerous times -- at least twice in the last month alone -- to inform them that the person for whom they are looking does not live at this address, nor do we know him, in spite of the similarity of his and my husband's names.I am always told "I have removed this number" from their database, but the calls keep coming.  Today I asked the young man with whom I spoke for an address where I can send a letter, and the following is the address he provided:10500 Heritage Drive, Suite 200San Antonio, TX   78216.I am going to write today and am going to send the letter via certified mail.  It annoys me that I have had to end up spending almost $5.00 to get some relief from these constant calls, but if it works, it will be worth it.I am also going to call the Texas Attorney General's office to see if there are any other avenues I can pursue to stop these calls, and if I get any additional information I will post it on this site.

It's another telemarketer. Try this:1) You answer & no one is there: hit ###### many times in rapid succession (creates an even-****ed beep) and **** up; Ma****e may interpret that your number is bad and take you off the list. 2) You answer & get a sales pitch: say "please hold" and set the phone down till they **** up; If you always waste their time like this, they'd be ****** not to take you off the list.

I don't know who it is, but they've called a couple times and don't say anything when I answer...they just **** up or sit on the line.  It's really annoying and I consider this harassment!  I don't know of anything I can do about it, but I am going to check!

phone call, female voice just asking for a christina. first it caught me off guard but i knew they had the wrong number. they didnt even bother asking first if she even have the correct residence.  i guess there just not including last names anymore.  why bother i guess.. on caller id, it just said texas call.  i guess they are using cell phones or so****ing b/c i have afriend who's calls dont give a name just texas call only in Texas of course.
