The same thing happened to me with PayPal. Luckily I noticed the email addresses from PayPal were different only by capital letters. Said he is from Oklahoma.

Recieved a text asking to purchase so****ing I had for sale on line. Wanted to pay through paypal. Sent an invoice and then received an email back which looked like it was from paypal saying I had to enter a tracking number before payment would be deposited into my account. Called paypal and they said it was fake. Paypal stated they would not send an email requesting this type of information.
