They listed a home for rent and asked for a “fully refundable application fee”. BUT WOULD NOT AGREE TO SHOW ME THE PROPERTY until after submitting the deposit to “avoid wasting anyone’s time.” I did not pay the deposit but they also did not refund my application fee as promised. They have ignored my messages ever since I declined to pay a deposit on a sight-unseen property.
