this number was given to my daughter as a callback # for a debt collection, I think it's a scam!

I had an almost hillarious call from these folks...outside of the threats, the guy was stressing to get his point across so hard that he was almost yelling them.  You could hear someone in the background telling him what to say.   They left no informaton other than the name (anthony) and that I had better call him back or good luck to me in whatever came my way.

Just got a call this morning from a supposed "jenny smith" saying to give her a call at her hotline which was 949-202-4689. She had an indian accent but spoke english pretty well. I WAS going to call until i typed this number in on yahoo and this website showed up. Im super happy i got more details on this number because all jokes aside, the voicemail she left me was really threating.

Got a call at work regarding a lawsuit for cash connect payday loan for Check Fraud and theft by deception which I don't ever remember taking out and when I asked for so****ing in writing so I could hire a lawyer they said that was not possible.  I'm glad I looked on here before I sent any kind of money.  I will just ignore it and if I get so****ing from the courts then I will do so****ing about it.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Shawn Harding, he speaks with broken English and is hard to understand what he is saying. But I gathered by what I could understand he said that a friend of mine had a law suit and I was part of his defense.  That my friend needed to call him back, or I was to call back or get a lawyer to call them back.  That I was his case and I had to be in court.  He closed with God bless and good day.  Please do not be ****ered into this.  The courts will not notify anyone by telephone that they are to be a witness or involed with a court case, they will serve you with papers.  Please be ware.

Just got a call from a Jenny Smith claiming to be with a law firm and that I have a case pending a***nst me. The number that showed up on my caller ID was 810-676-161 not even a valid number. As soon as I heard her voice I chose to say I wasn't home and to take a message. The number she left for me to call back on was 949-202-4689. I am glad I chose to look the number up online before I got worried about a case.

i have the same thing going on that everybody else is having. do like i am doing call them back and harass them it is fun they don`t like it either.

harrassing me about a payday loan that was never taken, saying I owe money in which I never took, they have too much of my personal info what should i do?  they say I have federal charges a***nst me and have to appear in court.  Claim to be an attorney's office but cannot provide a mailing address or bar****ociation number.

Called security office tonight to look for Michael **x but ***ody at here has that name...They left name and number: Jack Wilson and 949.202.4689 with Law Firm!I suspected it was SCAM! In my mind, I should explore that number on internet.  WOW!  Good thing I didnt call back....

I received a call saying all of the above things--this person had information about me. I subscribe to credit monitoring w/ iden***y theft--I thought this was a scam--is there anyway to report this number to the correct authorities.

I recieved a phone call from "Allan Smith."  Everytime he called he said the same thing in the same tone, like a robot.  Said someone had pressed charges a***nst me and I needed to call ASAP, and that he wished me luck if I didnt call back.I called and the same person who called me picked up and said that they were not "Allan Smith" but would connect me to him and to give him my social before I connected with him, so he could tell me who was pressing charges a***nst me...Obviously a scam!

I received a call from a PA Number Instructing me to call this number threating me that I had Federal charges A***nst me for Check Fraud and theft by deception and that I was going to Jail what bothers me is none of this is true I spoke to my Payday loan carried and it is not true they have the name of my bank and threatned to go to Social Secuirty.. All they would tell me is they were a law firm and said I should have received Via email my supeona and my charges which Is not true and the law does not work that way. At the end they said to me good luck with whatever comes down on me.... They Have way to much personal info the incoming call came from ***-638-7276 and call back was 949-202-4689

I recieved  a call from this number say that i had not paid back a cash advance that i had never taken out.  They harrassed me all afternoon yes****ay my husband was going to pay it and i did so sear****g and found out it was a scam. What collection agency says god bless you at the end of a voicemail. I am worried they had too much of my personal info what do i do?
