Called asking for owner, then said he had a check for him to pick up. I mentioned not available would you like to leave message, got upset and ended call by saying “fine I will keep his check then”.

No message left

caller was a Tom, but was a recording and now it a 3rd time with the same exact recording. Sounded like a scam since I dont have a home to refinance and yet I have been pre-approved.

I let the caller go to voicemail; it's about a new mortgage refinance offer.

I blocked the number.
