Received call from number not recognize. Caller ID said California number unavailable so did not answer it. Caller left no message. Research shows it was Verizon calling my number. If call was important, would have left a message.

Just bought a new Verizon phone, so it makes sense that it would be them calling twice in one day.

after reading some of these posts, I got brave and answered.  It's just an automated system from Verizon calling as a follow up to see how your recent purchase experience was.  NOT A SALES CALL, and NOT A BILL COLLECTOR.  since this is neither of those, being on the DNC list has no effect. also at the beginning of the automated message, it clearly states there are NO airtime charges for the call.

I received two calls from this number in one day - the first at 10 am and the second at 4 pm.  After checking other sites, it seems that the info about it being a Verizon service survey is correct.  I think it stinks they don't leave any kind of message!  Apparently you cannot reach the survey by calling the number back, so I wouldn't waste time trying.

i hate unknown numbers and i shall refuse them as long as i get them.who cares if its verizon why cant they ask you or send a text or mail you sumthing.annoying

Like Some others, I had to upgrade my Verizon Phone 2 days ago. This call came 2 times back to back. Showed the number but no other information as to a Caller ID.I can't say for sure it is Verizon

Recently did business in a Verizon store (got a new phone). I think this is a follow up call to rate my experience at the Verizon store. They mentioned that someone might call. They should use caller id and/or leave a message. If I don't know who it is, I don't answer. If they don't leave a message, I won't call them back.

I called this number back and found it was some Verizon customer satisfaction survey. I've been a Verizon customer for less than 2 weeks! How the hell do I know if I'm satisfied yet? I'm definitely not happy to get a call during the hours of the day that minutes count against me.

this is  Verizon Wireless Retrieval System.  Usually used right after you have a technical issue that they worked on, or a phone replacement.  It's just a quick survey to see how they did.

They called me twice, I live in Oregon and did not answer. It's a mystery!!!

10:12 AM: whoever called, I didn't answer. I live in Minnesota, so a call from Orange County was out of the ordinary.

My Altell was just switched to Verizon and I keep getting cals from this number with no ID.  I am on Do Not call List, so who could be calling?
