I thought it was illegal for tele-marketers to even call cell phones, much less send unsolicited text messages. Who can I contact to press charges?The message reads:loan-mod.net Homeowners, we can lower your mortgage payment by doing a Loan Modification. Late on payments OK. No equity OK. May we please give you a call?

Same as above in all respects except says text is from debthelp55.com  Received 4 today.  In addition to reporting to FTC, also reported to State Attorney General.  Would make book that these calls are an attempt to get up front fees.

I received a text from this number at 5:21 AM on 9/03/09. It was from loanmod-gov.org. I own my home so I do not need loan mortgage services. I filed a complaint today with the FTC after receiving my second text on 9/08/09 at 6:30 PM. This company c****es their website name and the number they send the texts from. The second number was 949-439-7109 and the website they gave was loandebthelpcenter.com. I urge everyone to file a complaint with the FTC at 1-877-385-4357. This only takes a couple minutes. They need a pattern to determine wrong doing.

This company keeps texting me. I tried replying that the text was illegal and to stop, but they keep sending the texts anyway. I tried called the number, but the number doesn't work (unreachable).

text from loanmod-gov.org. I keep getting texted (that I have to pay for!)from this number and 951.321.9617. Both times I replied "stop" like the Verizon tech said to do. I tried to call each number and guess what? " the number you have dialed is UNREACHABLE"!!!! We need to find a way to put a stop to this practice!
