wow i too was also looking for homes to rent . they called i answered no body spoke they just ***g up on me. i did not leave my card info as soon as i left the website i got a call! I'm very angry after reading all the comments below saying they will not stop calling I'm calling my carrier now and blocking them.

They called three times and didn't leave a message. I answered the fourth call (in two days). Guy asked for Kristen (not me). I said, "Yeah, you've got the wrong number. Will you please stop calling me?" Him: "If you ask nicely, I'll take you off the list." Me: "Will you please take me off the list?" Him: "Ok." In my head: "You're invading my privacy, and you're making me say 'please' (a***n) to get to you stop?! This is infuriating. Leave me alone!!"

wow. i agree, i too was looking for rent to own homes but when asked for information to get my credit report i left the website. Now the number wont stop calling never leaves a message. I hadn't tried to call it back bcz I don't know any1 in CA. Glad I didn't answer it.

They called my cell phone and didn't leave a message. So I called them back to see who the number belonged to, someone picked up the phone and I could hear people in the background talking, but no one said anything... then they ***g up. I called them back and got an automated messaged that said "Hi, you have reached the rent to own homes department. We were calling you in regards to the form you filled out online for your list of rent to own homes. Please hold and a rent to own specialist will****ist you shortly". I waited and someone answered. She said are you looking to rent to own a home? I said no, someone called my cell phone by mistake and she ***g up on me. I called back, did not get the message this time and got someone else right away. I told him that someone called my cell phone and I wanted my number removed from their database, but before I could even give them my number, he said sorry and ***g up on me. These BS companies need to be stopped! So sick of these **** people!

Yup - rent to own triggers the call. If you decide NOT to sign up they call you back to pitch you. They say they don't ask for you social security number - a lie! They eventually do after they walk you through three other screens. They are just selling ****.

They called my home number, when called wouldn't say anything at first, then they asked for me about homes for rent to own, didn't talk to them.

I provided my contact info on a website that claims to have housing available for rent to own. A "free" credit score from all three agencies is supposedly included. By reading the terms and conditions, it turns out it is a scam to mislead you into purchasing a credit monitoring service at $30.00 / month. It's s***bags like this that erode all confidence in purchasing online services.

i have been looking for a rent to own home...i would never buy or rent a home from an owner/landlord in California...and according to feedback i have received it is good that i didn't answer the call.

I screen my calls so if you call from an unknown number leave a message. This number has called 3 times and never leaves a message.
