Got hit the other day. "Need cash now?" Must be scammers...some cell companies allow you to block numbers. Pain in the neck.
Got hit with one of those text messages as well today.
Trouble with that is they just get a different number and call using that one. Just ignore it. It's pesky, but nothing to get upset over.
Got the text just now. BS. 12-9-10
Received an unsolicited txt msg. Did not return call. Sure to be a scam!
I'm going to block the number from my phone.
Got a text from them today, same message as above. On a Labor Day weekend Sunday, no less! I immediately called Sprint and reported the # & email address to them & got the # blocked from my phone. I don't have unlimited texting. This is the worst marketing scam ever since it can't not be answered. Thanks so much to Jason (above) for the FCC link. I will go there next. Please, everyone, report these people.
Registered complaint with FCC and blocked # from my phone. Will next contact AT&T. Email address is not valid so don't waste your time.
Recd text 8-29-10 . Tried to opt out by email and it could not be delivered. Will report to FCC and AT&T..
Text message from 949-973-1653: "Eliminate 82 percent of your debt today - Really! Text Yes if you would like to know more. TXT No to opt out or email your # to [email protected] -Survey"7/18 8 AM Whatever you do don't reply or send an email to opt out -it will only confirm your number and email address as valid and you're going to get even more unwanted solicitation. The best thing to do is file a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Received a text message from this number. Do not know who it is from, in addition, it cost me money. I do not appreciate this. I will call the FCC to inform of text messages received without solicitation. Already listed on the Do Not Call List.......
