Everybody falls on hard times when they're paying back their credit cards at 27% interest!!! ***** these leeches. They have already been paid! It was part of the bailout program initially!! Fkn s***bags. "We" have already paid off every bad mortgage and credit card thanks to obama. You wanna pay these people a***n? at 27%? No thanks. Food and medicine is more important than usury. Receive calls almost daily from this number to my cell, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, luckily searches on these crooks yield some good info.   I have never received anything in writing from these people, so figure ***** em.  From what I read, they are jokes to begin with.    LOVE how you feel Markanthony, could not agree more!!!

Okay I am one of the guilty people, I used the max on a credit card 2 years ago of about $1200.00 and when I was working, I was paying back the interest only on the card each month, well lost my job 14 months ago, got unemployment for awhile, bills piled up, wife got sick then unemployment ran out and I have only been able to find a part time job and then I severe flu and asthma, couldn't work for a week and got fired from the part time.So Central portfolio calls and I have to decide whether to pay house note and buy food or pay them. I said F*** Central Portfolio.Well this guy yells at me from CP and calls me a deadbeat so I end up telling him I can come up with $500 to send in 2 days and when things get better I would send the rest and he called me a F***ing deadbeat and ****s up the phone. He said that's not good enough, your going to send $2300.He calls back 10 minutes later and tells me, he was being unreasonable and I can send the $500 and ya know what I told him.  Since your a ******* I'm going to be one.  I ***g up and NOW I will NEVER pay them and never take their calls.  He lost.  and ya know what else....I FEEL PRETTY **** GOOD ABOUT IT and I sleep like a baby.F*** collection agencies, if they can't work with you then forget them.  I'm a human being like this ****** **** and I fell on bad times, as he will surely one day. He can't be humane then I'll play his game. I never answer my home phone if I reconize the number.  Good thing I found this web site. Now I know I won't answer.  This shows up on my called ID several times a week. They can call until***** freezes over. Don't know what they want but I know it's not mine.

This is a collector for Central Portfolio Control.These people have a problem with following instructions fromthe U.S. Bankruptcy court. They know that the court gave me relief from the debts owed to them.I have filed a complaint with the bankruptcy court. I have alsofiled a complaint with the state of Washington. The funny thing is they keep calling my majic-jack phone. I only check the messages on this phone MONTHLY. A short message to CPC- You are never getting paid the $175,000 medical bill. I don't have to pay you legally the bankruptcy court gave me relief from this bill. So go to*****.

This number kept taking the minutes off of my cell phone by all their calls day and night.  I finally answered it today.  It's a collection for debts from Sears Gold Mastercard.  I don't know how they got my cell number?

This number rings on my cell phone at least 5 times a week.  Don't recognize it, don't answer it.

none they ***g up on my cell phone and I called them back and ***g up on them. I googled the number and found this site. They keep calling and ****ing up on me???? I read it might be a debt collection agency; thing is, I have no unpaid or outstanding debt, so how they even got my number is beyond me. Guess people are really hard up to find a real job.

these people have been calling us constantly for at least 6 months and asking for a Robert Layton.  There HAS to be a mechanism for us to shut these guys down.  They wont say what they do, what the call is in reference to, and only use first or last names.I'll try the FTC complaint line..

Just got a call from this number, and noticed "CPC" on my caller ID.  I am not home most of the time so I haven't had to deal with any rude people luckily.  I did try the call back number of 800-511-4067 and got a voicemail from "Scott" at CPC.  After reading all of this, I look forward to taking the call.  Lots of good stories on this one!

This number calls my house every day, and it's this chick with a British accent telling me to press 9 if I'm "Kimber Otan" ..  I press 9 so I can talk to them & tell them I don't know the girl, but they **** up before anyone gets on the line >:( I'm seriously about to c****e my number!

Called/sent me letters for someone else (collection type letters).I called them, & told them that person not here & they said no more calls would happen.WRONG! 1 day later, then month later more  calls.I called & gor recording to speak w. 'Scott Fisher (if wanted to speak w. a supervisor), at 1-800-511-4067, &  left him message (waiitng for callback!).They could either be group of people just harassing for 'kicks', or iden***y theives, so watch out/don't give private info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Report to their stae's attourney general!

I have told this person several times not to call, that the person about whom they are calling does not live here,, I have cursed them out, just to have them tell me it is not necessary. I tell them IT IS, it makes me feel better.

Ok, is this National Lame-***in Day?  This **** has called 3 times in a row, asking for a someone named "Karen".  I told him the first time, I am sorry you have the wrong number.  He called back and kept calling me Karen.  I tried to explain to him that I was not Karen, that was not a Karen who lived here, etc.  With a very stern voice, he told that he was going to turn me over the clerk of court in my county and a warrant would be issued.When I asked him who he was, he ***g up.Within 20 mins. he called back.  Once a***n, asked to speak to Karen.  I just s****ed laughing.  Once a***n in a stern voice, he told me this was a serious issue and I shouldn't take it lightly.  I asked "take what lightly?" and reminded him once a***n I am NOT Karen, do not know a Karen, etc.  Before I ***g up, he asked me if I could give a message to Karen...

I too have been getting harassing calls from this same place. They just **** up when I answer the phone though. So, I call them back and scream in their ear whatever comes to mind. It sure makes me feel better LOL:) I'm reporting them today because I'm on the "Don Not Call" list so hopefully, this will remedy the problem.

Said that I needed an attorney and they were going to turn me over to my county for a credit card that I had, but the amount they said was NO WHERE near what I put on it...they said 20% interest per WEEK...When I gave them an amount I could pay...they said that wasn't good enough and ***g up...really rude...

This is a collections company trying to collect a debt from someone who does not live at our phone number

CPC is corporate portfolio control. This is a collection agency. They call my phone incessantly looking for someone that I do not know, but they insist that I do.

A Mr. Stoger from CPC called, wouldn't identify the company he worked for or what the call was about --only demanded to know the last four digits of my SS#.  He was very rude, would not answer my questions, and demanded that I "get off his phone".  A return call managed to connect to "Mr. Stoger" a***n who a***n would not confirm his iden***y, nor tell me who he was working for.

Received a call for "Lisa Mae."  I informed her that she had the wrong number.  She said "Thank you" and ***g up.  Caller ID name was "Cpc".  A few minutes later, phone rang a***n but no one on other end.  Caller ID name was "Unknown Name."  Phone number was 952-215-3684 both times.  I did not consider either call unusual until I searched the web for the number and came across this site.

I've received several phone calls from this number - I just reported them to the "Do Not Call" registry.  I let it go into voice mail and they never leave a message.
