Leave a CommentThis is UHC calling.. an RN. She is relentless.. she spanks me daily about the (prescribed by DR. )meds I am on. I want them to f**k off. She will NOT stop calling. Now she is calling me at work and insisting I talk to her. It is freaking me out. She makes it sound like I HAVE to talk to her. She sends encrypted emails and they won't open. I hate them. My wife's insurance doesn't torture her. ***. I hate UHC. It is NOT optional. They lightly suggest if you don't talk to them.. they will flag you in their system.
United Health
Agreed it is united healthcare calling to offer well patient services
It is United Health Care nurses line....like someone said earlier ....not everything is a scam! “Paranoia will destroy ya!“
2nd spamster call today!
***!!! Hospital nurses spamsters.
I also have been receiving calls from this number (952.367.8000). I receive a voicemail and lady says she's an RN with United Health Group and her name is Marie Carter. She's calling for a lady that's not me (first name Kay), but does not leave a number I can call back. The only number is the 952.367.8000 that is a busy signal when I return the call. If it's a wrong number that's one thing. But if this person is trying to contact me, it is a scam because I don't even have health insurance.
Call from 952-367-8000 ID = United Health Group. I have received many many calls over a number of weeks. I say*****o and no one answers and then they **** up. I have called 1-842-2656 which is their customer service dept. and as of yet they have done nothing to stop the calls. I have absolutely no connection with United Health Group.

My husband received a call from them and they said it was an Rn, he was in the hospital 3 days with heart failure. They try and prevent hospitalization iin the future. He received in the mail a voice activated scale at no cost that he weighs in on and answers questions yes or no after weighing in. It is a preventative program for your health through your insurance company if you have United Health Care. This is not a scam.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE THIS "FRIES" PERSON who posted above- same person posted THE EXACT SAME THING on another who-called-me site - "fries" is part of the scam!!!
This IS a scam. Do not give any information to anyone who calls from this number! I am an MD and have no patients with or dealings with ANY such organization. They are phishing. They called me several days ago asking for my "credentials" - I told him, I have no credentials, do not call me a***n. Just now got another call, didn't answer it and of course they left no message. REPEAT, THIS IS A SCAM, DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!
C'mon... not everything in this world is a scam folks. It's UHC calling. Yes I gave them my birthdate, so what if they know I'm 48.I didn't see any charges on a cc referring to the number 48...And the ONLY thing I received in the mail from them as a result of the call was a reminder to schedule a retinal exam with my doctors office.I'm a diabetic... totally uncalled for...Sheesh...
i received a call from this number and didnt get to it in time. icalled it back and got a fast busey so i googled the number and got this....when i listened to the voice mail they left me, they said that they are an RN and she gave her name and that she was with united health care and left a callback number and an extention. im hesitant to call with all of the feedback here. so call the insurance first?
Even if this was ligit, which I do not believe it is, there is NO reason to call people and say nothing when they answer, then **** up on you! And, you can't call them back becaue you just get a busy signal. What is the purpose of them calling and saying nothing? Losers. I will report them.
I contacted our health insurance company today. I spoke with a representative there. They****ured me that they do theirown claims and that this "United Health Group" has nothing todo with them, so beware!
We have been receiving calls from 952-367-8000 for about two weeks. Today, my husband answered the call and a lady said shewas calling from United Health Group. She further explained that United Health Group had been hired by our health insurancecompany to****ist them with claims. She asked for my date ofbirth. My husband told her he would not give her my date of birth because he didn't know who she really was. I then checkedmy health insurance claims with my health insurance provider andthere are no claims pending. I am going to talk to my health insurance company to see if they do work with this outfit.
Bu***hit to "Fries"There should be no reason why you'd be enrolled in so****ing you don't know about. "Trunk line?" That's already fishy enough as it is. The actually company would still contain the 800, and would reroute automatically to a service provider.
good.
This is not a scam # - this is a trunk line for a call center for UnitedHealth Group Care Coordination Nurses. The Care Coordination Nurses make outbound calls to speak to patients about disease management programs, authorizations & notifications, case management, etc. The nurse will call your house and leave a message giving their name, their business unit (UnitedHealthcare, OptumHealth, Empire, ****I, Pacificare, Evercare, Oxford or any other plan managed by UnitedHealth Group) and a toll free phone # (for example, 800-955-7976) and a 5 digit extension number. The toll free # plus the 5 digit extension number is the number you should call back. If you want to confirm with Customer Care that the nurse leaving the message is actually employed by UnitedHealth Group, please provide the Customer Care rep the nurse’s name and the toll free # plus 5 digit extension number. The Customer Care rep will then be able to look up the nurse in the phone directory. Because 952-367-8000 is merely a trunk line and not a valid phone number for an employee, this number doesn’t appear in the UHG phone directory and Customer Care can’t see it.Because of privacy issues, when you speak to the nurse, they will ask you to confirm your name and month & date of birth. They will confirm your address because the nurses often mail information to members and many times the addresses received from employer group eligibility files are incorrect/outdated. The nurses call you to****ist you in navigating the complex world of health care & insurance – A SERVICE YOU ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR IN YOUR PREMIUMS Please speak to the nurses.
called and asked for someone else - I said the had the wrong number and they ***g up - in the background I heard someone say -that's the wife?
I have had a number of calls. It doesn't happen on a daily basis. Today I had a call from the UnitedHealthcare Nurse who follows my case. I guess I am expensive. She woke me up from a nap and I didn't want to talk to her then. I usually speak with a different person. I will wait for him to call. A bit later, I got a call from this 952-367-8000 number. It rang once and ***g up, but I have had other ring once and **** up, so I pursued this one. I will not give any information to people calling from this line. Thanks for your****istance.
Called me this morning and said she was an RN that was****igned to me. It almarmed me that she asked for me and not my husband. He is the primary policy holder and the employee. She wanted my address and birthday. I thought she should already have that. I told her I was not interested.
I got a call from this number today. She said she was an RN with UnitedHealthCare. What alarmed me to not continue talking with her was her request for completing my address and birthday. I don't think that any company should ask anyone to verify their information if they call you.
They called for me at my brother's house (haven't been there for close to 5 years.) They mispronounced my name so he told them they had the wrong number. He tells me that some healthcare company called, but thats all I know.I have had actual calls in the past from UHC, but when I didn't call back I just got a letter in the mail saying that they tried to contact me regarding hospitalization. And that was obviously legitimate. However, with information that out of date, I concur with the others to not provide any information.
I missed a call at lunch from (952)367-8000. When I returned the call, I got a busy signal several times and "googled" and found this site.
received a call twice this morning. answered the call the 1st time and an automated voice asking for someone i do not know. i quickly ***g up and they called back 30 minutes later. didnt answer the 2nd phone call. any ideas?
United Health Care registered nurses calling to discuss your health issues.
Keep calling the house, and when you call back you get a busy signal.
