Leave a CommentI didnt answer but they called before 8 am
Its Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Message said "****s"
Calls began before 8:00 am! They called both cell and land lines for about an hour. The calls to the 'land-line I.D.'d the caller as Wells Fargo Bank. I suspect that the last 4 digits are to a dept. or a specific "desk" w/in the organization! I do not answer 'unidentified calls' period, and since there was only a 'number' these l did not answer!!I feel if this were a literal number for WFB a message would have been left! So no message - no call back from Moi!Remember Never give out your personal data...not even to so-called bank employee. Legit companies will not put any "pressure" on you for this info, you can go to a nearby ***nch and report what happened!
I received a call from this number and she failed to properly identify herself and immediately asked for the last 4 numbers of my SS id stated that we she needed to "verify" me. She go a "no" and tried a few pressure tactics. She knew I had applied for a loan but couldn't give any details but did offer to give me a number so that "I would ...feel... more secure when I called back. I'll check this with the lender and post a second reply, but the organization typically identifies itself when they call by name and this caller just said, "Is this....?" "I need the last four digits of your ssn for security purposes (yeah! my impending loss of security!) so that we can discuss your account."
This is some type of bill collector. They are not a mortgage lender. This number is listed as CPC and they have called my home numerous times. I do not know who they are calling for and they interigate me.. Also they violate FCC laws. They are not allowed to call between certain hours however they called me at 740am which is a total violation when I told him what time it was he said.. I know and abruptly ***g up
